RE: Ask Anime Week #57: What do you think of animes having live action?

I saw the Death Note adaptation and was very disappointed. I heard there was also a Gantz version, but because of the terrible reviews I read, I dismissed it. The only adaptation I've liked across all its movies is Kenshin or Samurai X. That was a well-done adaptation, and also the Netflix One Piece series, but since it's Netflix, I doubt they'll stick to the original plot; they change a lot.
