Well, I'm not a fan of live action movies/series about anime, and haven't seen anything about it, but I have read good reviews about some of them, like One Piece, and some other really bad reviews, like Death Note.

I think Anime having live actions helps the anime to reach more audience that wants live actions but it can also become a backlash if the live action is not done properly

I don't know if you have seen Alice in Borderland, this was initially in Manga , before it became live -action movie.
So this movie left the mystery and also the emotional weight surrounding it, it wasn't forced in any way. It's a pure and thrilling story telling.

I can't really say that live-action films or shows were a lot better than their anime or manga counterparts, unless they change some parts of the story in the live-action. Still, most live-action adaptations were decent enough and respected the material that they were adapting, so it doesn't feel like they were just double-dipping on the anime's popularity to earn more money, but maybe to use live-action as a means to introduce the anime/manga to people who do not usually watch them.

I actually don't like live actions at all. Especially after watching One Piece live action, i hate them even more now. Everything is best when it's in it's original form.

I've seen a few live-action films, including Death Note, I don't hate them or love them; I'm actually indifferent to them haha 😂 I just like watching anime in cartoon form; I can't watch them any other way, but that's just my personal preference haha
