Well, I'm not a fan of live action movies/series about anime, and haven't seen anything about it, but I have read good reviews about some of them, like One Piece, and some other really bad reviews, like Death Note.

I think Anime having live actions helps the anime to reach more audience that wants live actions but it can also become a backlash if the live action is not done properly

I don't know if you have seen Alice in Borderland, this was initially in Manga , before it became live -action movie.
So this movie left the mystery and also the emotional weight surrounding it, it wasn't forced in any way. It's a pure and thrilling story telling.

I can't really say that live-action films or shows were a lot better than their anime or manga counterparts, unless they change some parts of the story in the live-action. Still, most live-action adaptations were decent enough and respected the material that they were adapting, so it doesn't feel like they were just double-dipping on the anime's popularity to earn more money, but maybe to use live-action as a means to introduce the anime/manga to people who do not usually watch them.

I actually don't like live actions at all. Especially after watching One Piece live action, i hate them even more now. Everything is best when it's in it's original form.

I've seen a few live-action films, including Death Note, I don't hate them or love them; I'm actually indifferent to them haha 😂 I just like watching anime in cartoon form; I can't watch them any other way, but that's just my personal preference haha

English: From my point of view, I have no problem with live-action adaptations, as long as they maintain the same "essence" and development of both the characters and the plot. I've had the opportunity to enjoy some of these projects, including: "One Piece" (I should also clarify that it's my favorite anime; at first, I was scared when they announced the live-action adaptation, but seeing that it had good references, including Oda, the mangaka, I decided to give it a chance, and now I'm waiting for the new season on Netflix), "Weak Hero Class" (the first season is an arc before the main one, and they developed the characters well, but in the second season, which adapts the manhwa, they changed many things, and it felt completely different), and then other manhwa adaptations like "Job Proposal" and "Marry My Husband" (which, despite having certain changes in the plot and especially trying to implement several themes in a few episodes, I was satisfied with and enjoyed these projects very much).
🌸

I saw the Death Note adaptation and was very disappointed. I heard there was also a Gantz version, but because of the terrible reviews I read, I dismissed it. The only adaptation I've liked across all its movies is Kenshin or Samurai X. That was a well-done adaptation, and also the Netflix One Piece series, but since it's Netflix, I doubt they'll stick to the original plot; they change a lot.

I've not really seen a live-action that held up to the Anime/Manga
But if it's a good attempt, then I'm more than happy to give it a good try
