I wouldn't say otherwise. Not all friends are meant to stick to us. Some go while the others stay with us. Anyone who I call a friend should be there for me when I need him or her the same way I would.
And her betrayal??? That was what hurt me the most just by reading through. You made the perfect decision by ending it there and then.
