Walking the horse to Strawberry for the lost stranger was a very touching detail. It showed a more patient side of John, and the outskirts of the town provided a beautiful backdrop for the end of that little task.

I tried such quests as Arthur and he always asked the one in need of help to jump on his horseback, though they were women only. And the patient side of John is a time killer for sure.
