A New Morning at Pronghorn Ranch.

▶️ Watch on 3Speak

Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest.

I began my morning at Pronghorn Ranch before setting off toward the newly accessible Blackwater. Along the way, I used my lasso to stop a robbery, helped a lost traveler reach Strawberry on foot, and reunited with a familiar beggar outside Blackwater to continue Arthur's legacy of kindness.

John stepped out of his new home early in the morning. The air felt fresh, and the sense of a new beginning for the Marston family was finally starting to set in.

I found my personal black horse waiting nearby. The weather was perfect for a long ride, so I decided to head out and see how much the world had changed.

On my way to Blackwater, I stumbled upon two men in the middle of robbing a wagon driver. Even though I was trying to keep a low profile, I couldn't just ride past and let it happen.

Since I didn't have any guns on me yet, I had to rely on my lasso. One of the gunmen tried to draw on me, but I was faster with the rope and tied him up before he could damage me much.

The second man was too scared and shot me some bullets, but I managed close the distance and tied him up tightly alongside his partner.

I picked up a handgun from the second man and walked over to the wagon driver. I let him know the threat was over and that he was safe to continue his journey.

After grabbing a rifle from the first attacker, I followed the wagon for a short distance. The driver finished thanking me for saving his life before we went our separate ways.

I started riding real fast, just soaking in the environment. There was something about the lighting and the open road in this part of the world that made the game feel brand new again.

A man stopped me on the trail, looking completely lost while trying to find his way toward Strawberry. I decided to stop and lend him a hand.

I expected him to hop on the back of my horse for a quick ride, but John preferred to keep his distance. I ended up walking my horse slowly so the stranger could keep up on foot.

Once we reached the outskirts of Strawberry, the man felt confident enough to make it the rest of the way on his own. I left him at the gate and got back to my own mission.

I pushed the horse toward Blackwater again, enjoying the speed. I passed another stranger on the road and offered a casual greeting as I rode past.

Just outside Blackwater, I spotted the same beggar I used to help back when I played as Arthur. It felt right to keep that tradition alive, so I stopped and gave him a dollar.

Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.

The start of the journey at Pronghorn Ranch really captured that sense of a new beginning. The fresh morning air and the crisp lighting made the ranch feel like a true sanctuary for the Marston family before the long ride began.

It was great how you handled the robbery without any firearms. Using the lasso to disarm and tie up both attackers showed a lot of skill, and it was a great way to acquire a handgun and rifle for the road ahead.

Walking the horse to Strawberry for the lost stranger was a very touching detail. It showed a more patient side of John, and the outskirts of the town provided a beautiful backdrop for the end of that little task.

The morning light at Pronghorn Ranch looks absolutely stunning in these captures. The way the light hits the open road in this region made the experience feel fresh for the new chapter.

Excellent work maintaining Arthur's legacy through John's actions. Choosing to help the beggar is a perfect character moment for this stage of the game.
