RE: The market where you can find the best spices and assorted products. (EN-ES)

Good afternoon @avdesing, I loved that ending: It is a pleasure to go shopping at the Bailén market.

Neighborhood markets, at least in Madrid, were a meeting place between neighbors and vendors. All the faces were familiar, the mothers (who were the ones who went shopping) talked about their children among themselves, or commented on an offer or how expensive the fish was that day. The shopkeepers knew their clientele and their tastes and so they advised you to buy one thing or another.

That era has passed and there are few traditional markets left in Madrid with that air of complicity between sellers and buyers.

I don't know if the same has happened in Malaga, but I am very happy that the local authorities promote the compara in the neighborhood markets.

Regarding the current appearance of the market, it looks, as you say, very neat and orderly... a good place to go shopping.

Thanks for this walk.

A very big hug!!

I haven't been to many markets, just for spices and a few other things, but I like the neighbourhood atmosphere and all that. This one has everything! Thank you!
