Red photo Essay

I know the deadline is before August 1st but, for fear of forgetting, I'm publishing my Red photo Essay contest entry now.

In August last year, I started a Tribute to the 7 Colors, with 7 posts on each color of the visible light spectrum. I started with red. The first color of the rainbow, following the order of its colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet).

To avoid wasting time in the archive looking for photos that fit the theme, I decided to take the Fujifilm X-T3 and do the shoot from scratch. Much quicker.

The first photograph was taken at breakfast. The neighbors in the building next door had left just one piece of clothing in the sun. Color: red. A good start.

My city is under construction, the chaos that comes with evolution. On the bright side, I found elements that would bring out the red you want. In this case, the pipes where the underground communication cables run.

My gaze settled on the red Ducati Multistrada V4. This beautiful sports and touring bike has a V4 Granturismo engine for mixed terrain riding.

I like to be discreet in street photography. When you're obsessed with your purpose, in this case the red color of the car, it becomes difficult. The background seemed perfect, but the street was busy. After a sequence of 30 frames I managed to get some interesting movement in the people.

A good sign for the end. 🔴 End of the red tour 🔴

[😃 I'm hoping to collect those 6,000 ecency points to increase my HP. With a few PIMP's in the mix, it would be the perfect "slap" 🤣]

This is great photography! That first picture is incredibly eye catching. What an exciting theme. I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the other colours on the spectrum!

What an excellent idea! Photography following a colour theme. I might have to try this out one day. I like it a lot! !INDEED

AAh! A fellow Fujifilm lover!! ;-) Although the Canon R5 is my workhorse, my Fujifilm X-T2 is my walkaround camera.
Love your Red Photo Essay! And my favorite is the opener!

Ah, 😀 😂 A recent Fujifilm lover. I've always had a Canon, but a good opportunity arose to get an X-T3. After a few days, I truly fell in love and put Canon on the back burner.
All Fujifilm models are good. There are rumors of a new X-T4. We'll see.

Thanks for your comment.

I'll take advantage of your kindness to ask a basic question (I'm even embarrassed to ask🫣): what is the intention when they put tokens in comments?

After a year at HIVE, I should already know. But...🤔

I think it is even the X-T5 in the meantime, no? ;-) The choice between the Canon and the Fujifilm depends a lot on what and how you shoot, so totally understand ;-)

The tokens in the comments are bot triggers:

In this case, several different bots will see this comment (like @weirdly which is one of my bots), and will tip you with some WRD token. It is like giving the author to whom your commenting a little extra as a sign of appreciation ;-)
Some of these tokens can be quite valuable as well! (like the idea is with MMB and @mmbbot in the future)
And glad you asked ;-) That's the best way to learn new things!
While we are at the point of asking :-D I also run a Hive and Hive-witness node called @botlord and if you like what I do and trust me, feel free to vote for me! ;-) (https://peakd.com/me/witnesses for Hive and https://tribaldex.com/witnesses for Hive Engine)

Yes, Fujifilm is renewing its entire fleet.

When it's for photojournalism or studio work, for work that requires speed, I use Canon.

For fun, it's Fujifilm.

I'm clear about the tokens in the comments. Lolz has already spoken out. And I like Lolz 😀

Lately I've been having fun with tokens. I started with about $20 worth of BTC for swap.btc, then exchanged it for Bee and Pob to give me a weekly rent. I have several, but I want to dedicate more time to tokens because my goal is long-term.

A few days ago, I saw the account of an old user who has about $50,000 in tokens. I was impressed. I want that too😉

As for the witness, done ✅

Thanks for the witness vote!!! Appreciated!! 🙏😉

And I do the same indeed, with the Canon and the Fujifilm, is the canon as my work, and the fujis as my hobby 😉

Yes, the hive engine tokens, or second layer tokens can be very very interesting for sure!! And very rewarding as well! All that is my goal as well.. but more 😂😂😂
Not sure if you know him, but you should start following @tydynrain perhaps, as he often writes about his strategies as well.
Maybe I should start writing on those as well…

I know him. This gentleman gave me some very important suggestions when I was starting out. He's a gem.

He certainly is! And actually, we created the tokens and the tipping bots together under our MMB system.
