Playing Catch-Up Ain’t Fun, But Here We Are

You ever have one of those stretches where life just kinda says, “Hey, let’s put everything on hold for a minute” and then proceeds to throw your entire schedule out the window? Yeah, that was me this past couple of weeks. As I talked about in another post, I had family come in town for my dad’s celebration of life, and honestly, everything else just stopped. As it should. It was an important and emotional time, and I’m grateful I got to spend it with my kiddos and their significant others as well as my sister and her family. Even my ex-wife came across from Oregon for the festivities, we are cool these days, haha. But let’s be real, when life hits pause, your to-do list doesn’t. It just gets bigger and bigger...

Whoops... Did I Just Let the Domain Expire?

So while I was busy being a good human and not glued to my computer, the universe decided to remind me just how chaotic things can get in the online world when you're not looking. I somehow let the Hivelist.io domain expire. Yep, the whole site just vanished into the abyss for a bit. Talk about having a mini heart attack when I noticed on Monday. Nothing like getting a message that your entire marketplace is MIA to snap you back into online reality. Luckily, I was able to jump on that pretty quick and get it all squared away before too many people noticed, because you know, we get so many orders, haha. Thanks to @deeanndmathews for making me aware!

Delays, Delays, and More Delays

The May COM token holder payouts got delayed, and I hate when that happens because I know folks are expecting those. I promise I am getting to them, it's a whole spreadsheet thing that I have to do and it's not very fun, but I know I have to, haha.

I’ve also got some client work that’s been sitting patiently, specifically some updates on a customer’s site that I just haven’t been able to dive into yet. And then there’s this brand-new project that I’m super pumped about which is building a website for our new FPV drone park that we’re setting up right here on my property with the help of the Dirty South Bandhoes, my FPV drone group. That one’s exciting thing, but also... another thing that is piled up on the list...

Not Gonna Stress and Take it One Goal at a Time

Instead of letting all this stuff pile up and send me into a tailspin of overwhelmed ADHD chaos (which I’ve been guilty of more times than I care to admit), I’m gonna do things differently this time and practice a little of what I try to preach. I’m reminding myself that I don’t have to fix everything in a day. So, one thing at a time, one foot in front of the other. Knock out a task, take a breath, then move to the next one. Rinse, repeat. It’s easy to get stuck in your head when the to-do list feels longer than your week, but I’m not about to let it mess with my momentum, at least I am going to try not to let it!

Back in Action (Mostly)

So yeah, the last week threw me off my rhythm, and I’m definitely still catching up. But I’m not stressing it. Life happens, and sometimes you’ve just gotta pause and deal with the real-world stuff before diving back into the digital grind. I have been doing good with trying to make at least one post every day this week, so we'll see how long that lasts, haha. I’ll be making my way through everything that needs attention and getting back to full speed soon enough. If you’re waiting on something from me, thanks for your patience, I'll get to it soon enough. I appreciate y’all more than you know.

Until next time...

Be cool, be real, and always abide with you my dudes!

My deepest condolences on the death of your father ... being a good human at such a time is really all that is required. Glad I could help ... sorry about the heart attack.

I love having a crypto purchase option for my book and course about crypto, and I do want to begin promoting my Hivelisting as such, so please let me know when everything is up and running again.
