Hive - the best place to be
Hive is more than just a social media platform for chatting, there is real connections and interaction on Hive which is human based and unfiltered unlike the web2 world where bots do most of the activities and articles and videos can be copied and pasted countless of times without giving permission or regard for the originator of the content published.

This week @indiaunited community #contest theme is about comparing Hive with centralized social media platforms brings memories of when I started my journey on Hive on November 2nd. Looking at my achievements in such a short period of time, it makes me appreciate Hive the more because I wouldn't have been recognized if I was doing all this engagement on Facebook or Twitter.
Hive is a decentralized platform that gives full authority of ones account, and one can simply be recognized and rewarded when they post, comment, and even upvotes others. I've been on Facebook for over fifteen years, and I have over 6k followers, yet I've never been rewarded for once. Even when my account became monetized, they came up with a violation issue to restrict or pause my monetization.
Imagine how far I would gone if I had known about a beautiful platform like Hive and invested all my time, energy, and resources here that I wasted on Facebook. I'm sure I would have achieved great success and, probably, financial freedom by now.
When I read comments on my post, I get the understanding and could read the feelings in the lines, showing concerns, interest, and curiosity. This is totally different in centralized platforms as replies are generally created by Ai, and no one really cares about the details you want to share.
Hive is far better than web2 or centralized platforms that control users' accounts and can choose to seize or delete an account like it never existed, not considering the years it took the person to build on that account and their followers.
On Hive, you have full ownership of your account, and your keys, which give access to your account, are owned by you alone. You get rewarded without having to get thousands of followers like I have on Facebook. You can get 15% APR interest when you save your HBD, you get curation rewards when you upvote others, you can invest and support projects, and Hive is still building and growing. I know it will get the awareness it deserves. We all need to come together to give Hive the support and awareness it deserves because people really need to know how wonderful this platform is.
Hive is a wonderful platform and far more than a social platform for me. It is my special and quiet space where I feel free and safe to discuss what happens around me. It's like a home to me, and the people and communities are family.
I've never looked back since I learned of Hive because Hive is too sweet, it's a beautiful place to be, and I will be celebrating my one year on Hive in few days.
