Web3: The Pacesetter

‎Hello, people! Trust you'll are having a good day. It's another amazing week in the indiaunited community. It's an honor to be involved in this week's prompt about Hive compared with other social media platforms.

‎In my opinion, Hive is really an amazing platform. I've been on this space for close to a year now and I must say it's really a wonderful platform to be on. It is a really great innovation and addition to the web3 space. There are quite some other decentralized platforms which I'm aware of which are not really doing all that bad. But compared to Hive, I think I prefer Hive.

‎Web2 had it's shinning moment but I think web3 came and took the spotlight without permission. The benefits of web3 are just numerous to count. The lack of total access to one's account is one of the areas I feel web2 fell short. I can't remember how much suffering I went through in the hands of Facebook for restricting my accounts whenever they felt like without any valid reason. But web3 gives their users full access.

‎Having total control and access is gold indeed. That's one of the reasons why many would always prefer web3 to web2.
‎Let's not even talk about the hassle it takes just to be verified on the web2 platforms. It's something that—permit me to say—requires blood, sweat and tears to achieve. The only way out is if you have the money which may not be really convenient for everyone.

‎It takes months, and in some cases years, before you can start earning on the web2 platforms. The requirements are really tough to meet up with that's makes many people discouraged before meeting up with them. But it's not the same with web3; hive to be specific. I started earning on the hive blockchain in my first week of joining the platform. No time spent on the platform is a waste of time. You're either earning or getting information and insights from posts of other members.

‎By seeing these, it sparks up inspiration and creativity. I wasn't much of a writer when I got onboarded on the hive blockchain, but compared to now it is a whole new level. It was through this platform I knew there was a writer aspect of me which I have not been paying attention to.

‎I strongly believe that in coming years hive would be explosive. I am really glad to be a part of it and have no regret for one day about being on it.
