Phone Photography Contest N° 91; Murals on Calle Larga or Bermúdez Avenue (Eng - Esp)
Greetings friends of #Hive and the @feelgood community, I wish you an excellent and blessed weekend with your loved ones. This is my entry for the 91st telephone photography contest, moderated by @untilwelearn. I'm sharing a series of murals depicting the long street known as Bermúdez Street in downtown Cumaná. The murals recreate what the avenue looked like between 1868 and 1927. They show part of the Manzanares River, a church, several houses of various colors, tiled roofs, wooden doors, a tree on the riverbank, and a perspective view of the street. The different houses can be seen on both sides. In the next photograph, we have a more complete view, showing the church, a yellow house, a pink house, a blue house next to it, and then several more houses. Most of them share the same design: a triangular roof covered with tiles, and wooden doors and windows, which was the typical style of this era in Venezuela.
In the following photograph, a tree and the Manzanares River can be seen. Next to it, we see in more detail the windows of the houses, the doors, the trees in the backgrounds of these houses, and the windows that stand out for their colonial style, a beautiful design at the top, the grilles, and some of them had planters. In the next photograph, a more complete view of the Manzanares River and a house.
Saludos amigos de #Hive y comunidad @feelgood, deseo que tengan un excelente y bendecido fin de semana, en unión de sus seres queridos, esta es mi entrada para el concurso de fotografía telefónica número 91, moderado por @untilwelearn, comparto una serie murales, que representan la calle larga conocida como la calle Bermúdez, en el centro de la ciudad de Cumaná, los murales recrean cómo era la avenida entre los años 1868 y 1927, en ellos se observa parte del río Manzanares, una iglesia varias casas de diversos colores, techos con tejas, puertas de madera un árbol a la orilla del río Manzanares y la foto de la calle en perspectiva, a ambos lados se pueden observar las diferentes casas, en la siguiente fotografía tenemos una visión más completa y se observa la iglesia una casa de color amarilla, una rosada, al lado una de color azul y a continuación varias casas, la mayoría de ellas tienen el mismo diseño; el techo en forma triangular cubierto con tejas, puertas y ventanas de madera que era el estilo típico de esta época en Venezuela.
En la siguiente fotografía, se aprecia un árbol, el río Manzanares, a su lado vemos con más detalles las ventanas de las casas, las puertas, los árboles que hay en los fondos de estas casas y las ventanas que resaltan por su estilo colonial, un hermoso diseño en la parte superior, las rejas y algunas de ellas tenían jardineras, en la siguiente fotografía una visión más completa del río Manzanares y una casa.

Next, another complete scene shows the Manzanares River, the sun shining brightly, and the main door of the house is clearly visible, finished in a semi-arch at the top. The window is also visible, along with an ornament on the next door featuring several wooden rectangles and a flower-like structure at the top. Finally, another view of this street, formerly known as "Calle Larga" (Long Street), is shown. These murals, made of cardboard, were placed on one of the walls of the colonial houses on Bolívar Street to commemorate the 510th anniversary of the founding of the city of Cumaná.
The artist did a great job; the painting looks very beautiful and realistic. The objective of this exhibition is to showcase what the city of Cumaná was like and how it has evolved over the years. Currently, Bermúdez Street is part of the city's economic center, and most of its buildings no longer have this style, but rather a modern design; multi-story buildings or houses, since most of them house commercial establishments.
En otra fotografía se observa completamente la calle Bermúdez, al final un barco y las las nubes en el cielo parecen copos de algodón, seguidamente otro cuadro completo del río Manzanares, el sol en todo su esplendor y se aprecia en detalle la puerta principal de la casa, con una terminación en forma de semi arco en la parte superior, la ventana, un adorno en la siguiente puerta con varios rectángulos de madera y una especie de flor en la parte superior, nuevamente otra vista de esta calle que anteriormente se le llamaba la "calle larga", estos murales están hechos en cartón y se colocaron en una de las paredes de las casas coloniales de la calle Bolívar, para la celebrar la conmemoración de los 510 años de la fundación de la ciudad de Cumaná.
El artista hizo un gran trabajo, la pintura se ve muy bonita y realista, el objetivo de esta exhibición es dar a conocer cómo era la ciudad de Cumaná y cómo ha ido evolucionando con el paso de los años, actualmente la calle Bermúdez, forma parte del centro económico de la ciudad y la mayoría de sus construcciones ya no tienen este estilo, sino el diseño moderno; edificios o casas de varias plantas, ya que en la mayoría de ellas funcionan establecimientos comerciales.
