Drink and eat deliciously

Hello, friends of the world. Hello, friends of Hive, lovers of beer and all the delicious things in life. Today is Saturday again, and Saturdays are the perfect days to share in the #BeerSaturday Challenge.

Today I decided to eat out, mainly because I had to go buy some Christmas things and it got late. Also because I had forgotten to take the meat out of the fridge, and it would be 'stressful' to get home and start cooking.

So I decided to go eat at a place I had been told about, not just for the taste, but also because the dishes are affordable: Arepera Cochinitos. By its name, you'll know that it's a place where the specialty is pork. There were not only arepas with pork but also cachapas, and we asked if they had beers, and of course they did, so we ordered two for the sweltering heat these days, which we drank quickly.

Since it is a family lunch spot, the menu was full of natural juices and there was only one type of beer, light, and although it is not one of my favorites, I ordered it because I was dying from the heat and thirsty. With those needs, I wasn't picky: I just wanted something cold. And indeed: the beers were cold. I had three: one before the meal, one with the meal, and another at the end of lunch.

On other occasions I have said that this beer, light, is from the Polar company, has the lowest alcohol content in the Venezuelan beer market, 4% by volume, and with low carbohydrate content: that is, it is very light.

In the end, forgetting to take down the meat turned into a perfect outing: delicious food, refreshing beers, and good company. I can't think of a better way to spend the day.

I would like to invite my friend @tengolotodo to delight us with a post on The #BeerSaturday Challenge - Week 437, an initiative of the #beer community and the incomparable @detlev.🍻😎

Hi!
I love Polar beer, although I prefer the stronger Polar. I could really use a nice cold one right now!
Cheers!

It does look like a great place to have a bite to eat and drink. No wonder you had three beers, I forget how little the bottles are! The arepas were $16 for a large and $9 for a medium size? That to me seems expensive for a lunch. I am glad you had fun and hope you cook the meat today hehe! A frothy hug.

Hey, did you see the menu? In Venezuela, everything is getting more expensive every day and everything is paid in dollars! The good thing is that the portions were very complete and plentiful. But yeah, things are expensive. Sending you a piggy hug. hahaha.🐷

I love Polar beer and enjoy it very much. When I was in Cumaná and Rio Caribe, I really enjoyed this beer.
The place looks spectacular and so does the food.
Happy Sunday.
Thanks for sharing.

Ah, how great!! If you visited Río Caribe, I'm sure you enjoyed having beers in front of one of the most beautiful beaches in Venezuela: Playa Medina. Greetings from Cumaná, my friend

Yes, I had the pleasure of going to Medina Beach.
I remember it was during Holy Week in 2015. What a crowd and what a beautiful beach. I love Venezuela and its people. Cheers and best regards.
