This database is important, especially for gathering information about who visited the expo, which attendees own hardware stores, and how many closed deals, made sales, etc. All this statistical data will help measure the expo's success, which will allow the chamber to use this database for its strategies and future event promotions.

This time it was held at the Trinitarias Suites Hotel. I believe last year it was held at the Lidotel. Everything was impeccable. The decorations, all the advertising materials… it really is a great venue. The only downside on the first day was that they didn't clearly indicate the access point, as they used the usual entrance to that area as the exit. There was an elevator that goes up to the hotel lobby, but it's a small elevator. I saw many people having to go up through the parking garage.

Another aspect I didn't like much was the layout of the booths; some areas had very narrow aisles. It was the same as at the Advertising and Marketing Expo; it was a bit difficult to move through some of the aisles due to the number of people. I wasn't the only one who noticed it; I heard several others comment on it.

Esta vez se realizó en el Hotel Trinitarias Suites. Creo recordar que el año pasado se realizó en el Lidotel. Todo estuvo impecable. La decoración, todo el material publicitario… realmente es un buen espacio. Lo único malo del primer día fue que no indicaron claramente dónde estaba el punto de acceso, ya que usaron la entrada habitual a esa área como salida. Había un ascensor que sube al lobby del hotel, pero es un ascensor con poca capacidad. Vi a mucha gente tener que subir por el estacionamiento.

Otro aspecto que no me gustó mucho fue la distribución de los stands; algunas áreas tenían pasillos muy estrechos. Fue igual que en la Expo de Publicidad y Marketing; Era un poco difícil moverse por algunos pasillos debido a la cantidad de gente. No fui el único que lo notó; escuché a varios otros comentarlo.

I didn't stay long either; the tour through all the areas was very quick. There were other media outlets and content creators also filming. I decided to take photos and look at some of the offerings from companies specializing in different areas of the hardware industry. At these kinds of events, you really want to spend a lot of money on a complete home renovation.

I participated in a roulette game to see if I could win a gallon of paint, but I wasn't lucky. I had to settle for a rag, but it's one-size-fits-all, so it's way too big for me. I'll use it at home, and when it wears out from so much washing, in my country we use them when they're old to clean the floor. Those of us who are poor do it, not the wealthy.

The event lasted three days, from Friday, February 27th to Sunday, March 1st. Three days for interested members of the public to attend. I missed seeing some awnings they were putting up in the hotel parking lot, but they'd be completely up by nightfall. After taking pictures and chatting for a while, I was getting bored and just wanted to be home watching a movie.

Now I'll wait for the next hardware fair; I don't know when it will be yet, but I know it should be sometime in the next few months.

Tampoco me quedé mucho tiempo; el recorrido por todas las áreas fue muy rápido. Había otros medios de comunicación y creadores de contenido que también estaban creando material. Decidí tomar fotos y ver algunas propuestas de empresas dedicadas a las diferentes áreas de la ferretería. En este tipo de eventos, dan ganas de gastar mucho dinero para hacer una renovación completa de la casa.

Participé en una ruleta para ver si ganaba un galón de pintura, pero no tuve suerte. Tuve que conformarme con una franela , pero es de talla única, así que me queda enorme. Lo usaré en casa, y cuando se desgaste de tanto lavarlo, en mi país los usamos cuando están viejas para limpiar el piso. Los que somos pobres, los de alta alcurnia no.

El evento duró tres días, del viernes 27 de febrero al domingo 1 de marzo. Tres días para que el público interesado pudiera asistir. Me perdí de ver unos toldos que estaban instalando en el aparcamiento del hotel, pero al anochecer ya estarían completamente montados, y después de tomar fotos y charlar un rato, me estaba aburriendo y solo quería estar en casa viendo una película.

Ahora esperaré a la próxima feria de ferreterías; aún no sé cuándo será, pero sé que debería ser en los próximos meses.
