On Saturday, as evening fell, energy and fitness came together on the fourth floor of the Metrópolis shopping center parking lot for the second edition of Metro Fitness, this time called the Neon Party. I believe it was in May when the first Metro Fitness was held, taking advantage of Mother's Day. That edition was held quite early, at 7:00 a.m. Now, the Neon Party had a different schedule. It started at 5:00 p.m.
I arrived at the venue at 5:15 p.m., and there was a small line to get in. I was pretty tired. I had come from another event I'd spent hours at, and the drive to this one exhausted me even more, so I didn't get to take as many photos as I'd hoped. I was so tired I couldn't even stay until the end.
El sábado, al caer la tarde, la energía y el fitness se unieron en el cuarto piso del estacionamiento del centro comercial Metrópolis con la segunda edición de Metro Fitness, esta vez llamada Fiesta Neón. Creo que fue en mayo cuando se celebró el primer Metro Fitness, aprovechando el Día de la Madre. Esa edición se celebró bastante temprano, a las siete de la mañana. Ahora, la Fiesta Neón tenía un horario diferente. Empezaba a las cinco de la tarde.
Llegué al recinto a las 5:15 de la tarde y había una pequeña fila para entrar. Estaba bastante cansado. Venía de otro evento en el que había pasado horas, y el trayecto hasta este otro evento me agoto mas, así que no pude tomar tantas fotos como esperaba. Estaba tan cansado que ni siquiera pude quedarme hasta el final.
The decor was striking, although workers were still installing some lights. They handed out neon strips, since, as the event's name suggests, the idea was that when night fell, everything would glow with neon lights. I could see a few sponsor booths: a cable and internet company, an electrical equipment and mobile phone company, and I even saw a candy stand. That didn't make much sense to me; they were high-sugar products, and for anyone maintaining a truly healthy diet, the first thing they should eliminate is sugar. But I understand that many fitness enthusiasts can't kick the sugar habit. It's the deadliest modern drug and therefore highly addictive.
La decoración era llamativa, aunque los trabajadores aún estaban instalando algunas luces. Repartieron tiras de neón, ya que, como indica el nombre del evento, la idea era que al caer la noche, todo brillara con luces de neón. Pude ver algunos stands de patrocinadores: una compañía de cable e internet, otra de equipos eléctricos y telefonía móvil, e incluso vi un puesto de dulces. Eso no tenía mucho sentido para mí; eran productos con alto contenido en azúcar, y para cualquiera que mantenga una dieta verdaderamente saludable, lo primero que debería eliminar es el azúcar. Pero entiendo que muchos entusiastas del fitness no pueden dejar el hábito del azúcar. Es la droga moderna más mortal y, por lo tanto, muy adictiva.
The event host began introducing the instructors. The first to take the stage were a dance group, who provided the first impetus to get the audience moving. After the dance group performed their choreography, the first instructor appeared so the audience could start moving their bodies, having fun, and exercising.
Most of the attendees were women of all ages. From older women who loved dance therapy to young women and even teenagers. Of course, there were men too, but they were fewer in number; some were the women's husbands. I could see several standing a little distant, simply watching, probably wanting to be home watching TV. Others were there participating in the segments with each instructor.
El anfitrión del evento comenzó a presentar a los instructores. Los primeros en subir al escenario fueron un grupo de baile, quienes dieron el primer impulso para que el público se moviera. Después de que el grupo de baile interpretara su coreografía, apareció el primer instructor para que el público pudiera empezar a mover el cuerpo, divertirse y hacer ejercicio.
La mayoría de los asistentes eran mujeres de todas las edades. Desde mujeres mayores amantes de la danzaterapia hasta mujeres jóvenes e incluso adolescentes. Por supuesto, también había hombres, pero eran menos numerosos; algunos eran los esposos de las mujeres. Pude ver a varios un poco distantes, simplemente observando, seguramente con ganas de estar en casa viendo la televisión. Otros estaban allí participando en los segmentos con cada instructor.
It was getting dark quickly, and I was feeling pretty exhausted. I wanted to stay until the end to take a picture with all the attendees wearing their neon strips, but my body had no energy left. Plus, there were about six dance instructors left. I also saw that it was very late, and my phone isn't very good at taking night photos. Night photos with that crappy phone camera come out horrible, so I decided it wasn't worth staying until the end.
The event was very well organized and well attended. I hope they do a third edition in the future, but I prefer it to be held early in the morning so I can take better photos and have more energy.

Estaba oscureciendo rápidamente y me sentía bastante agotado. Quería quedarme hasta el final para sacarme una foto con todos los asistentes con sus tiras de neón, pero mi cuerpo no tenía energía. Además, faltaban unos seis profesores de baile para terminar. También vi que era muy tarde y mi teléfono no es muy bueno para sacar fotos nocturnas. Las fotos nocturnas con esa cámara de movil tan mala salen horribles, así que decidí que no valía la pena quedarme hasta el final.
El evento estuvo muy bien organizado y tuvo mucha asistencia. Espero que hagan una tercera edición en el futuro, pero prefiero que la hagan temprano por la mañana para poder sacar mejores fotos y tener más energía.

Everything was very good
Es por eso que no te veo allí con las mascarilla... porque estabas muy cansado, no importa no faltará oportunidad. No es lo mío los deportes y esas cosas, pero si que está muy llamativo el lugar con tanto color. Y a pesar del cansancio lo pasaste bien y tomaste un montón de fotos, pero un montón. El tema del azúcar.. bueno yo más que nada consumo mucha azúcar pero la misma de las frutas, me apasionan las frutas, eso es natural, pero es verdad mucha gente no lo puede dejar.

No consumo muchas frutas, pero si de vez en cuando alguna.
Las frutas son lo mejor que hay... vitamina c, a... todas tienen y dan energía!! Los cítricos son geniales. Esperaré al evento de mañana, seguro estará muy bueno.🤗
