The Miss Centroccidente organization has exciting news for 2026, and to announce it, they held a press conference and media meeting last Thursday. The event took place at Studio 7, the headquarters of this academy and modeling agency.
One of the organization's directors is also a communications professional and photographer, and his studio is located there. His photography is impeccable; I love the photos and videos he posts on social media.
The press conference was scheduled for 3:00 p.m. and started promptly. They made it clear that they value punctuality. We only had to wait a few minutes while they finished setting everything up and checked the sound. In the meantime, I started taking pictures of the venue and the crowns they had on display from their various beauty pageants.
La organización Miss Centroccidente tiene noticias emocionantes para 2026, y para anunciarlas, realizó una conferencia de prensa y una reunión con los medios el jueves pasado. El evento tuvo lugar en Studio 7, sede de esta academia y agencia de modelos.
Uno de los directores de la organización también es comunicador social y fotógrafo, y su estudio se encuentra allí. Su fotografía es impecable; me encantan las fotos y los videos que publica en redes sociales.
La conferencia de prensa estaba programada para las 3:00 p. m. y comenzó puntualmente. Dejaron claro que valoran la puntualidad. Solo tuvimos que esperar unos minutos mientras terminaban de preparar todo y revisaban el sonido. Mientras tanto, empecé a tomar fotos del lugar y de las coronas que tenían expuestas de sus diferentes certámenes de belleza.

The event was attended by some of the young women currently part of the organization, proudly wearing the beauty crowns they won last year. Two of them had even participated in beauty pageants in Thailand. Both shared their experiences, recounting how they had to return to the country in early January and encountered difficulties due to political issues and flight cancellations. They also shared anecdotes about the culture shock, especially regarding food.
The organization's two directors discussed this year's new pageant, which they called the Global Edition. It will be divided by state, a national competition, and will seek the queens who will represent Venezuela in other international pageants. The Global Edition will be divided into two categories: teenagers and adults. Therefore, they decided to invite the media to cover these upcoming activities, with the final gala scheduled for the end of June.
After the press conference, everyone enjoyed light refreshments, which I took advantage of to snap some photos and videos with the beauty queens. I'll be keeping a close eye on the upcoming activities of this agency, which I was visiting for the first time.
Al evento asistieron algunas de las jóvenes que actualmente forman parte de la organización y que lucían las coronas de belleza que ganaron el año pasado. Dos de ellas incluso habían participado en certámenes de belleza en Tailandia. Ambas compartieron sus experiencias, ya que tuvieron que regresar al país a principios de enero y encontraron la situación difícil debido a problemas políticos, con la suspensión de vuelos. También compartieron anécdotas sobre el choque cultural, especialmente en lo que respecta a la comida.
Las dos directoras de la organización comentaron sobre el nuevo certamen de este año, al que llamaron Edición Global. Estará dividido por estados, será una competencia nacional y buscará a las reinas que representarán a Venezuela en otros certámenes internacionales. La Edición Global se dividirá en dos categorías: adolescentes y adultas. Por ello, decidieron invitar a los medios de comunicación para que informaran sobre estas actividades que se llevarán a cabo próximamente, con la gala final programada para finales de junio.
Tras concluir la rueda de prensa, todos disfrutaron de un refrigerio ligero, momento que aproveché para tomar algunas fotos y videos con las reinas de belleza. Estaré muy atento a las próximas actividades de esta agencia, que visitaba por primera vez.

I loved how well organised the event was, as well as the emphasis on punctuality, which is very important for both sides. The attention given to the media was also impeccable, with the refreshments at the end, and what I liked most was that the previous winners were able to share their experiences despite the difficulties they encountered on arriving in the country.
