An event that is prepared for a long time, probably a whole year, to offer children a world of illusions, fantasy, joy and lots of sweets.

Un evento que se prepara durante mucho tiempo, seguramente todo un año para ofrecer a los niños un mundo de ilusiones, fantasía, alegría y muchos caramelos.

Aunque han pasado algunos días, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes en video este evento tan especial para la ciudad, donde todo el mundo está atento a cada instante en la hora que se celebrará ya que es el segundo año consecutivo donde las lluvias afectan este hermoso show.

Por fortuna sólo se retrasó una hora y no se tuvo que atrasar más o desplazar el evento a otro día y todos los niños de la ciudad pudieron disfrutar de personajes, carrozas, dulces, luces, colores y por supuesto de los tres reyes magos.

Although some days have passed, today I want to share with you in video this event so special for the city, where everyone is attentive to every moment at the time to be held as it is the second consecutive year where the rains affect this beautiful show.

Fortunately it was only delayed for an hour and the event did not have to be delayed or moved to another day and all the children of the city were able to enjoy the characters, floats, sweets, lights, colours and of course the three kings.

Ese día yo estaba ahí buscando un lugar desde donde pudiera tomar fotografías y filmar algunos videos, que finalmente fueron muchos, aunque cortos. Alternaba entre filmar y tomar fotografías, pero las carrozas pasaban tan rápido que parecía una misión imposible, aunque algo logre. El usuario @jesuslnrs me pregunto que como haría para registrar todo con tanta gente allí y le dije a modo de broma que las brujas podemos volar. Además, todo se movía tan a prisa que enfocar la cámara era una odisea, pero todo el proceso fue muy divertido.

Creo que no sólo los niños disfrutaron este gran espectáculo, sino que los adultos, que siempre llevamos ese niño interior, nos hemos deleitado con cada carroza, el arte que contienen, las risas, las luces y el ambiente tan festivo. Por supuesto los dulces y caramelos eran para los niños y todos se esforzaban en juntar la mayor cantidad posible.

Estaba rodeada de alegría, de risas, de expectativas por ver la siguiente carroza y de que se trataba, siempre este evento llena de asombro a toda la gente que va al lugar y que se distribuye durante todo el recorrido que hace la cabalgata de reyes por las calles señalizadas, calles muy céntricas.

That day I was there looking for a place from where I could take pictures and film some videos, which in the end were many, though short. I was alternating between filming and taking pictures, but the floats were passing by so fast that it seemed like an impossible mission, although I managed to do something. The user @jesuslnrs asked me how I was going to record everything with so many people there and I jokingly told him that we witches can fly. Besides, everything was moving so fast that focusing the camera was an odyssey, but the whole process was a lot of fun.

I think that not only the children enjoyed this great show, but also the adults, who always have that inner child in us, were delighted with each float, the art they contained, the laughter, the lights and the festive atmosphere. Of course the sweets and candies were for the children and everyone tried to collect as many as possible.

It was surrounded by joy, laughter, expectations to see the next float and what it was all about, this event always fills with amazement all the people who go to the place and that is distributed throughout the route that makes the cavalcade of kings through the streets signposted, very central streets.

En lo particular lo que más me gusta es ver el arte que hay en las carrozas, cuan bien están diseñadas y sobre todo como lucen por la noche, cuando se da el espectáculo. Otros años he tenido la oportunidad de verlas a luz del día y les aseguro que con las luces son una real maravilla, mucho más hermosas que si la cabalgata se realizara en horas del día, como el año pasado, que por cierto me la perdí.

No lo puedo negar, la carroza o los personajes que más me gustaron fueron los de Avatar, pero todas las demás estaban geniales y los niños disfrutaron de todas y cada una, además de las personas disfrazadas con distintas temáticas que aparecían, bailaban y saludaban a los niños entre carroza y carroza.

In particular, what I like most is to see the art on the floats, how well they are designed and above all how they look at night, when the show takes place. Other years I have had the opportunity to see them in daylight and I assure you that with the lights they are a real marvel, much more beautiful than if the parade was held during daylight hours, like last year, which I missed.

I can't deny it, the float or characters I liked the most were the Avatar ones, but all the others were great and the children enjoyed each and every one of them, as well as the people dressed up in different themes who appeared, danced and greeted the children between floats.
