Midnight Letters prompt #16: "The Phone Search"

Warm greetings to y'all.. How are you all doing today? Happy new week from here.. So, today i will be sharing with you about something funny that made me laugh at myself. Keep reading, am sure you enjoy reading;

In one way or the other, many of us here might have encountered moments of doing something funny and also laughing at ourselves. These moments are humorous because they highlight our shared, everyday imperfection and the absurdity of autopilot actions. So here's my story. Last week, i had a very important meeting with my boss at work. So, i was asked to come very early in the morning. I have already done my morning chores, dressed up, and arranging my bags to leave the house.

I left the house and was trekking down my street inorder to find a tricycle. I began to search for my phone. I searched my bag and couldn’t find it. I thoufht to myself that maybe i had left it at home. I hurrriedly went back home and started searching for it. I searched for it at every nook and cranny of the house, but still can't find it. Then, i had to knock at my neighbour's house, so that he can help me dial my phone lines.

He dialed the number, and guess what? The phone was ringing rght inside the trouser pocket that am putting on. I began to laugh at myself.. i can't believe that i was searching for my phone all those while it was in my pocket..!!😄 it was indeed a very funny moment. Thank you for reading.
