The Hive Pizza Monthly Contest September 2025 Edition - @cristypatata

Hello everyone and welcome to the new episode of the monthly Hive.pizza contest created by @hivetrending.
This month, I have a nomination that is especially close to my heart because of her personal story (not to diminish anyone in prior month's nominations!): @crstypatata, a user since last August.
Cristy’s from the Philippines and she’s been through a lot since she was little. What caught my attention is how she faced all the troubles, always helping her family and putting herself on second place.

She grew up in a poor family where farming rice was pretty much the only way they could make a living.

Her introduction is heartbreaking: as a child she helped her family rice farming and then right after high school (when one starts to plan its own life) she decided to do housekeeping and to help the most she could to help with her mother's medical bills to fight a cancer; sadly she lost the battle with it.
Despite everything, Cristy still found a way to support her family and help her sisters get settled. Now, she’s a mom to a little boy.
Her aim is to provide him with a better future, in an attempt to make sure he doesn’t have to endure the same plight she did, and I can certainly relate as a parent.

Cristy shares travel details and experiences, food and reflections on Hive.

Cristy is engaged on her blog, frequently posting, interacts with people and is engaged.
That’s also why I believe an HP delegation is an appropriate recognition to support Cristy here on her journey on Hive.
