CCC's Street Art Contest: Hidden Art Wall [ENG/SPA]

Recently I told you that I had been visiting the Andrés Bello cultural complex, where 3 places related to culture and art are located in my city. I visited each of these three places and although I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted to, I did get the job done.

Hace poco les comenté que había estado visitando el complejo cultural Andrés Bello, donde están ubicados 3 lugares relacionados con la cultura y el arte en mi ciudad. Visité cada uno de estos tres lugares y aunque no tomé demasiadas fotos como quería, sí logré el cometido.

On the other hand, in one of the service streets, or back streets of this complex, I came across a few gems that I would like to share with you.

They are all truly beautiful works of art for urban art lovers. One of these works, located in the center of the entire painted mural, has a name to give credit to its author.

Por otra parte, en una de las calles de servicio, o calles traseras de este complejo, me encontré con unas cuántas joyas que me gustaría compartir con ustedes.


Todas son obras de arte realmente hermosas para los amantes del arte urbano. Una de estas obras, ubicada en el centro de todo el mural pintado, tiene un nombre para dar mérito a su autor.

The truth is that each of the pieces really is pleasing to the eye not only for the striking colors but for the excellent designs that each letter has, the combination of colors and the place where it was made.

La verdad es que cada una de las piezas realmente es agradable a la vista no solo por los colores llamativos sino por los excelentes diseños que cada letra tiene, la combinación de los colores y el lugar en el que se hizo.

Although hidden, all these works serve to beautify an area of this cultural complex that otherwise would be just gray concrete, so it is to thank the artists who contributed to beautify this place.

Aunque ocultos, todas estas obras sirven para embellecer una zona de este complejo cultural que de otra manera sería solo concreto gris, así que es de agradecer al/los artistas que aportaron para embellecer este lugar.

As for what I can tell you about the main work, the tiger on the back wall, I can only say that it is beautiful. It is not a huge or too striking work, but it is beautiful in its own way.

Con respecto a lo que les puedo comentar sobre la obra principal, el tigre que se observa en la pared de fondo, solo puedo decir que es bellísima. No es una obra enorme ni demasiado llamativa, pero es linda a su manera.

It is precisely with this drawing of a tiger, with symmetrical shapes in the background and a sort of all-seeing third eye, that I plan to participate in the CCC's Street Art Contest #148.

Although all the other pieces that make up this huge mural, the truth is that this cosmic feline, as I see it, attracts a lot of attention.

Precisamente, con ese dibujo de un tigre, con formas simétricas de fondo y una suerte de tercer ojo que todo lo ve, es que pienso participar en el CCC’s Street Art Contest #148.


Aunque todas las otras piezas que componen este enorme mural, la verdad es que este felino cósmico, como yo lo veo, llama mucho la atención.
