Hello, friends of the #ShadowHunters community, thanks to my friend @melinda010100 for inviting us to this initiative in her Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest-Round 400.

Today I want to share with you a couple of images taken last week on the same day when my wife and I went out for a walk to clear our minds and look for a bit of calm.

While we were walking around the store facing the sea, which we commonly call La Caridad store because of the name of the beach, our shadows caught my attention again. There they were, stretched out on the cement, accompanying us as if they also wanted to be part of the moment. I liked the way the morning light drew them, simple but meaningful, reminding us that even on melancholic days we keep walking together.

A few steps further we found a mural painted on the side of the store. It is a mural representing the city of Matanzas and it is arranged in such a way that those coming from the Varadero road can see it. Its bright colors contrasted with the serenity of the place and it seemed to me a beautiful way to end that small walk, where the shadow, the art and the sea came together unexpectedly.

Here I share with you these images for this new participation, taken with my mobile phone, with the intention of capturing not only shapes and shadows, but also a little piece of that shared moment.

Sombras entre colores y aire del mar

Hola, amigos de la comunidad #ShadowHunters, gracias a la amiga @melinda010100 por convocarnos a esta iniciativa en su Shadow Hunters SMASh Contest-Round 400.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un par de imágenes tomadas la semana pasada el mismo día en que mi esposa y yo salimos a caminar para despejar la mente y buscar un poco de calma.

Mientras recorríamos los alrededores de la tienda frente al mar, que comúnmente llamamos tienda La Caridad por el nombre de la playa, nuestras sombras volvieron a llamarme la atención. Allí estaban, alargadas sobre el cemento, acompañándonos como si también quisieran ser parte del momento. Me gustó la forma en que la luz de la mañana las dibujaba, simples pero significativas, recordándonos que incluso en los días melancólicos seguimos caminando juntos.

Unos pasos más adelante nos encontramos con un mural pintado en la parte lateral de la tienda. Es un mural representativo de la ciudad de Matanzas y está dispuesto de forma tal que los que vienen por la carretera de Varadero lo vean. Sus colores vivos contrastaban con la serenidad del lugar y me pareció una bonita manera de cerrar ese pequeño paseo, donde la sombra, el arte y el mar se unieron de forma inesperada.

Aquí les comparto estas imágenes para esta nueva participación, tomadas con mi móvil, con la intención de capturar no solo formas y sombras, sino también un pedacito de ese momento compartido.
