A Beautiful Celebration of Twin Babies
It's been a joyful event from morning up until this evening. My good friend, who has been childless since 8 years ago, had her newborn babies just three months ago after many years of waiting and expecting their bundle of joy.
Today happened to be the dedication of the twin babies, a boy and a girl, and indeed, the whole environment is super exciting. Friends, family, and well-wishers all gathered right from church and at their house for the celebration today.

You could imagine the feeling of being childless for years. People called her names, the husband got frustrated at a point, and their families were always praying and being supportive. Their friends, including me, were not left out in supporting them with words of encouragement and prayers all along. The news of their twin arrival came with emotions; tears of joy were uncontrollable, and today was an event to come eat and be merry with the family.

There was a time the mother of these twins was called to share her motherhood journey so far. I must confess that the session was quite emotional. She narrated the toughest moment of her life, which was the period of waiting for a child; the moment she finally discovered that she was pregnant was more emotional. She couldn't believe it was real. She doubted her pregnancy results many times but later embraced the result in Thanksgiving to God.

The couple and I
The moment she discovered through an ultrasound scan that she was pregnant of twin babies was so exciting , to crown it all, God mixed the sex of the babies for her, a boy and girl named kizito and Kyra , such a double blessing after years of waiting .

She took the whole audience to the story of her journey for about 40 minutes and we couldn't help but keit expressing gratitude to God who always steps in when it seems to be no other way. It was quite emotional.

Food, and drinks of different varieties was surplus. I love the fruit juice they prepared and I went for it instead minerals and wine.

Unlike me, I choose to eat swallow instead of rice, hehe. I think this is the first time I am eating swallow in an event. It's always rice but today was different . While others were using spoon to eat swallow, I carefully washed my hands to devour the food as an African woman I am, lol.

I had a good time over there, and even made new friends , hehe 😀. We danced to our satisfaction , ate and had a good laugh and in turn, I felt super relaxed .
My friend, the mom, gave us takeaway packs of food as we were leaving. That was so nice of her, I must say. My kids were happy to see me return with goodies, sharing with the celebrants too.

Overall, it's good to rejoice with those that are rejoicing and mourn with those that are mourning.

Wao a boy and a girl after 8years of waiting.
God's truly faithful and knows how best to reward those who patiently wait upon him
Congratulations to the couple
May God keep these bundles of joy safe
And give the parents everything needed to give them the life they truly deserve
Amen oo.
The waiting wasn't easy, but glad they are happy now
Thanks for stopping by 🥰
