Over familiarity ends my friendship.

Hello, my beautiful people. I hope you all are doing well. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. Back to the question of the day, which says. Have you ever ended a friendship before? What happened, and how did you end it?

Oh yes, I have ended a friendship before; let me explain what happened. So when I got married, I moved in with my husband to his location. There was this particular woman that was so friendly. She is a very beautiful and very friendly woman; she was the first woman that welcomed me to that community. I loved that woman genuinely, and I thought she was reciprocating. Little did I know that she was in my life to use me. Let me tell you how.

So whenever this woman is going out, she could put food on the fire and call me on the phone to tell me that she has food on the fire and I should help her and complete the cooking. I did that for the first time, thinking it won't repeat itself again. She called me again one fateful morning to tell me that I should take my phone to my neighbor; she wanted to ask him something.

I went again and gave my phone to my neighbor. I waited there till they finished, and I returned home. And my sister came visiting one time, and I decided to make her hair. Then these particular women called me again to tell me to take my phone to her daughter, that she want to tell the daughter something. At that moment I knew something was wrong, and I had to fix it fast before it got out of hand. I told her I was busy and could not go to her house at that moment. She let that slide.

I was cooking rice one setting time again, and she came passing and told me that she will be coming for that rice that I was cooking. I didn't say anything, thinking she was joking, only for her to appear from nowhere and ask me for the food. I gave it to her. The one that broke the friendship totally was when her son came over to my house to play with my son, and out of the rough play the boy did, he hit my son, and my boy was injured, so I punished him. because he is like six years older than my son.

This woman has the guts, the effrontery, the audacity to come to my house and say she came to warn me. Hahaha 😂 Ah, I don see disrespect. warn me, me of all people, you came to warn me never to touch her child again. And from that day I knew that she was never my friend; rather, she was using me. And the truth is I didn't regret ending my friendship with her. Over familiarity can cause disrespect; I have to end the friendship, and I did.

Actually she misses me; she even sent some people to come and apologize on her behalf. I told them I don't have problem with her, but we just can't be friends again. Thank you for reading through.
