But the moment she steps into the city, that was total chaos. She gets lost, goes to the school late and completely unwanted things happen in her first day. It’s an absolute mess but a charming one too. And then she meets Sousuke Shima. If I tell you about his characteristics, he's the most popular and cool boy in school, who helps her out. He’s calm, handsome, a bit mysterious. His characteristics is much the opposite of her.

After their meeting, then the real show becomes, it's a sweet journey of growth. Mitsumi’s not trying to be cool, she’s just being herself. She's like super sincere, and always full of hope. She’s so likable and enjoyable main characters I’ve seen in a while. And not in a forced way it's just real.

Sousuke, on the other hand, he has his own story going on. He's not simple, as I said he's a mysterious character. He hides a lot behind his smile. There’s a deep thing about his character, but the show doesn’t rush to spoil everything fast. You will learn more about him slowly in the show.

If we take a look into the supporting characters, they’re super good in their work. Yuzuki, who’s beautiful but tired of being judged by her looks. Makoto, the shy classmate who finds strength in friendship. Egashira, the one who’s deep down just wants connection. And Nao-chan, Mitsumi’s guardian, who brings so much love and quiet strength to the story. Every character has their own different characteristics none feels like an extra background, they all feel as the mains.

What I really loved was how it handled emotions. It didn’t need big drama to feel the deep emotions. And the friendships so well done. There’s no fake drama, no jealousy arcs, there were real and awkward bonds. You watch these characters feels through your own old memories.

If I talk about the visual it's stunning, soft and pastel, it's like a watercolor sketchbook. It captures facial expressions and body language perfectly. A small smile, a glance away. By the last few episodes, I didn’t want it to end. I wanted to keep watching these characters grow. Not because of any huge plot, but because they felt real. They were like people I knew, people I cared about.
