Hey there! How are you? Today is my first community post. Hope everything will go right. So, I recently finished watching a wonderful anime, which is Komi Can’t Communicate, and honestly… wow. I didn’t expect it to be this much. The anime has a wonderful story, humor, fun, charm, and most importantly, a very good message. Let's know more about Komi Can’t Communicate.

Story Summary and My Review

At first glance, Komi looks like she has got everything. I mean, she’s beautiful, elegant,, and popular in school. About this kind of person, we think she is the perfect girl. But here’s the thing: nothing in this world is perfect. The imperfect thing with her is that she can’t talk to people. Yes,, she struggles to say a word or in a word she struggles to communicate. Here is also a funny thing, actually it's funny for some people and a big thing for Komi. Her biggest goal is to make 100 friends by the end of the school year. That’s huge, right? It is especially hard for someone who struggles to communicate.

The fact that got me is that I could relate to it a lot. I mean, I’m not completely silent like Komi. I also faced some moments when I can't talk and then later regret about it. What is my problem? Maybe the overthinking. That weird fear of sounding dumb. It’s all there in the anime, and it’s done in such a gentle, funny, and real way.

And let’s talk about Tadano. This guy… he’s not flashy. He’s not trying to be a hero. He just stands by Komi. He supports her. He never told her to change. He’s just there. I loved that. Their friendship is natural, and it feels honest. This kind of bond is rare.

The anime’s tone is also so good. It’s funny without being too silly. Sweet, but not over dramatic. Like, there are scenes where Komi tries to order at a restaurant, but she can't. Because she can't communicate. It’s both hilarious and painful to watch. In this sense, you laugh, but you also feel her panic in your chest.

Visually, it’s soft and clean. It has Pastel colors, simple character designs, and a relaxed vibe that matches the story perfectly. The music is chill, too. The opening song is super catchy. The song can get you smiling before the episode even starts.

What really makes the show more beautiful? Besides Komi and Tadano, there are the side characters. Like Najimi, she is the total opposite of Komi. She always talking, always dragging people into stuff. Again, Yamai, who’s intense but brings in some wild energy. And Ritsu, who hypes Komi like she’s a celebrity. All together, they make the classroom feel alive. Like an actual high school full of weird, lovable people.

But the real heart of this anime is its message. It’s not just about making friends. Moreover, it’s about trying. About stepping out of your comfort zone. When you don't feel like getting out of your comfort zone. Going out of comfort zone is really difficult. But a very small start sometimes helps a lot.

Recommendation?

Would I recommend it? Definitely. Especially if you’re an introvert like me, if social things make you nervous. Or if you’ve ever felt alone in a crowd. Komi Can’t Communicate is for you. It doesn’t try to fix you. It just reminds you that you’re not alone. Which I liked a lot.

Story Summary and My Review

À primeira vista, Komi parece ter tudo. Quero dizer, ela é bonita, elegante e popular na escola. Sobre esse tipo de pessoa, pensamos que ela é a garota perfeita. Mas aqui está a questão: nada neste mundo é perfeito. A coisa imperfeita nela é que ela não consegue falar com as pessoas. Sim, ela tem dificuldade em dizer uma palavra ou, em uma palavra, ela tem dificuldade em se comunicar. Aqui está também uma coisa engraçada, na verdade é engraçada para algumas pessoas e uma grande coisa para a Komi. Seu maior objetivo é fazer 100 amigos até o final do ano letivo. Isso é enorme, não é? É especialmente difícil para alguém que tem dificuldades de se comunicar.

O tom do anime também é muito bom. É engraçado sem ser muito bobo. Doce, mas não exagerado. Tipo, há cenas em que a Komi tenta fazer um pedido em um restaurante, mas ela não consegue. Porque ela não consegue se comunicar. É tanto hilário quanto doloroso de assistir. Nesse sentido, você ri, mas também sente o pânico dela no seu peito.

Visualmente, é suave e limpo. Tem cores pastel, designs de personagens simples e uma vibe relaxada que combina perfeitamente com a história. A música também é relaxante. A música de abertura é super cativante. A música pode te fazer sorrir antes mesmo do episódio começar.

O que realmente torna o show mais bonito? Além de Komi e Tadano, há os personagens secundários. Como Najimi, ela é o total oposto de Komi. Ela está sempre falando, sempre arrastando as pessoas para as coisas. De novo, Yamai, que é intensa mas traz uma energia selvagem. E Ritsu, que anima Komi como se ela fosse uma celebridade. Juntos, eles fazem a sala de aula parecer viva. Como uma verdadeira escola cheia de pessoas estranhas e adoráveis.

Mas o verdadeiro coração deste anime é sua mensagem. Não se trata apenas de fazer amigos. Além disso, é sobre tentar. Sobre sair da sua zona de conforto.
