13th Chess960 Hivechess Tournament
Hello everyone.
In two days we have last edition of Chess960 Hivechess Tournament of the year. It is 13th edition since we started in December of 2024. Each month had its tournament and now it is time for December of 2025.
Due to busy schedule and holidays this edition came a bit earlier than usual time in the month.
40 Hive in rewards and everyone in top 15 gets some prize.
13th Chess960 Hivechess Tournament or Decembers edition of Chess960 tournament starts this Thursday at 18:00 CEST (16:00 GMT).
Mode for the tournament is 4 + 1 . (70 minutes)

40 Hive Total in rewards - top 15 gets rewards
Top 3 ranked players get 3 Hive each.
4th and 5th place gets get 2 Hive each.
From 6 to 15th place gets 1 Hive each.
Top 5 players rewards:
First place 5 Hive, second place 4 Hive, third place 3 Hive, fourth place 2 Hive and fifth place 1 Hive.
1 Hive for biggest upset of the tournament.
Additional 1 Hive for all wins- at least 7 games played
In order to participate you need Lichess account and to be part of our Lichess team.

You have to play at least 5 games in tournament to be eligible for rewards
Any additional rule regarding rewards will be added in Rewards explanation part.

Hi @sammy00, I am looking forward to this tournament. Temporarily I cannot play standard chess (blitz/rapid) but I am sure in a short period of time I will return to a normal level of blitz for me.
I expect to be in the top 15th or better...😀

Chess960 is warm up until you are back at blitz/rapid format.
