WORK IS WORK
I have been in the social media world for nearly a decade now and I have watched it advance in leaps and bounds. It’s not easy keeping up with the many trends social media produces and when I think about it, it’s even more shocking to see how much people have used social media to promote their businesses. The game charger was monetization which has now become the peak of social media. People will do anything to be monetized, especially after knowing just how much is possible to make. I currently have a pending client who wishes to get monetized and it took a lot for me to convince him to calm down because the art of monetization is more like a journey and getting monetized is the beginning of that journey. I have seen a lot of people struggle so hard to get monetized and when they finally become eligible, they are not able to make as much as they intended. Realizing all the efforts they have put in to get to the point they are in now, you find them doing things out of desperation and thus making social media unsafe.

One of the best places to see depressed and delusional people is in social media, and they often take the position of content creators. I do not blame them, they do not know better. Especially when money sets in and they can imagine how much they can make if only they get those views. It’s a normal human response in desperation. I remember how one of my clients sold his car because he wanted to do everything to get a monetized account forcefully. He did sell the car, but he is not yet monetized and now he is ready to listen to everything I say. I also have clients who have been successfully monetized and are enjoying the benefits today. I think it all boils down to how people see content creation, many see it as just content, others see it as a means to put their knowledge to a test, testing its credibility and how valuable it is.

There are a lot of people that rate their value system higher than what it truly is and there are those that rate their value system less than what it truly is. Monetization is based on value, people love value, people consume value, the more value you have the more your chances of being monetized and rising in the monetization rank. So what I tell my clients is to not just think about what they know, but also think about what people do not know and that is where the money is. The more value of your value system, the more your potential of making money. This is the work involved in content creation and it is a hell lot of work. It’s even more ethical than a lot of 9 to 5 jobs, this is why a lot of people tend to fail in it, not realizing the niche they have chosen requires time and dedication for the value to show, they put in less effort (which they think is alot) and expect more results. But do not be deceived, content creation is a lot of work, else there won’t be universities offering social media management as a high skill course.

STOPSome content is irrelevant and is displayed anyway, because some people might support it. Even if it doesn't generate much money, for some authors every penny counts!

That's a way to see it, and unfortunately, you can't blame them, when the platforms allows it
Wow, I love the way you took your time to explain this.
If only this content creators can focus more on value rather than just posting anything for the money, it would be much more better. But today, we all can see what they've turned the social media into, all in the name of making more money.
Thanks for sharing.
💯❤️💯
Yeah right, and it is just so sad they have to do it
Yea.
I think depressed and frustrated people are more on social media now especially TikTok and twitter.
