Let’s be honest, the social system is broken. In fact, any system that has to do with the government in power, especially in the majority of third world countries, is already broken. This is why my government will say boldly on national TV that the high school girls kidnapped by bandits are doing fine, this is why my government will tell bandits to surrender and gain amnesty. A man serves the government all his life and just because he is not at the top of the food chain, he is forgotten. But the one who kills people for fun is granted amnesty and told if they work hard they will even be able to run for a government office. Now tell me why I would not want to be a vigilante. In a country where power and money is respected not minding where it comes from I think a vigilante would be very much appreciated. But then again it will inspire an age of real vigilantes just like how cultism came to Nigeria by a group of students who just wanted to help other students and stop the oppression going on then.

Movies like the Green Arrow are my definition of Vigilante in a country like ours. If I have enough money I could train a group of people whose only job is to keep my society safe. I do not need to get my hands dirty, and the vigilantes do not need to know their sponsor so long we are all on the same page. Yeah I like to operate from the shadows, this way even when the vigilantes get into trouble, it can not be traced to me. The idea is for the sake of continuity And before you know it, people like me start to operate from the shadows and we put an end to corruption and insecurity. If I could get robots to do it, it would be even better, I could just program them to self-destruct if they are ever in a critical condition and they have a better chance of keeping the society safe as they will not be having other selfish ambitions.

I have stopped trusting my government to do shit long ago, since the October 10 2020 incident, I would prefer to take matters into my own hands than live it in the hands of selfish and unreasonable people. This does not mean I will try to play God or will always disrupt due process, it only means that things like terrorism and insecurity would not be tolerated under my watch. I do not mind creating a vigilante association and sponsoring them to take on tasks and secret missions that would save the lives of people. If it means killing those who threaten national security myself, I would do it in a heart beat. Very few people in government care for the citizens, this is why I would also make sure to work underground against those who try to rig elections. The idea of them not knowing what hit them is always thrilling and the fact that it would yield positive results makes me wish it could come true sooner than later.
