Photography Creativity: PhotoFeed Contest - Wildlife Photography Round 138
Good morning, friends in the community. Good morning, leaders of the @photofeed community.
Let me introduce myself, my name is Eky Sudaya. This is my first post in the photofeed community. I hope I can consistently contribute to the advancement of this community focused on photography.
In this 138th round of the Wildlife Contest, I will share the results of my shots this morning.
Snails

Snails, or Lissachatina fulica[2], are land snails belonging to the Achatinidae family.
Originating from East Africa and spread to almost every corner of the world due to trade, these mollusks are now one of the worst invasive species on earth,[3] to the point that some countries have even banned keeping them as pets[4], including the United States. These animals are easy to keep and are even consumed in some places, including Indonesia. Despite the potential for parasites, captive snails are usually parasite-free. In my village, this animal is of little use and is often considered a crop pest. However, things are different in Central Java, especially in the cities of Sragen and Yogyakarta. Snails can be used as a side dish. They are usually cooked as satay or lodeh (a dish of Indonesian cuisine) mixed with various vegetables. However, snail slime is often used for skin health.
That's the reality; everything on this earth always has its benefits.
Thank you for stopping by my first post. I ask for your guidance. Let's support each other with positive comments.
All my photos were taken at the garden location with a Redmi cellphone camera.
