Tension, drama, streets of Havana./ Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Greetings, friends of #blackandwhite.

I go out for a walk and immediately start imagining what that place would have been like in the past. Mainly in the 1950s, when Cuba was at its economic peak. The streets were full of cars and the buildings were in no danger of collapsing. Well, the fact is that I am very far from that golden age, so I quickly come back to reality and take photos of what we have left.

These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.

I try not to always go to the same place; sometimes I get lost and when I realize it, I'm going around in circles, which is complicated when I don't pay attention to the streets because I'm busy taking photos.

Lately, I've noticed that people are kinder; they don't bother me as much anymore. It feels strange; I simply go unnoticed.

I still need to take some pictures of these intersections when the traffic lights aren't working; it creates a very interesting dynamic with all the cars trying to pass at the same time.

Always searching for shadows and spaces of harsh light.

Sometimes it's like living through a mystery movie, sometimes tense and full of drama.

Saludos, amigos de #blackandwhite.

Yo salgo a caminar y enseguida voy recreando en mi cabeza cómo sería ese lugar en el pasado. Principalmente en la década del 50, cuando Cuba estaba en su mejor momento económico. Las calles llenas de autos y los edificios sin peligro de derrumbe; bueno, el caso es que estoy muy lejos de aquel tiempo dorado, así que rápidamente aterrizo en mi realidad y hago fotos a lo que nos va quedando.

Intento no ir siempre por el mismo lugar; a veces me pierdo y cuando me percato estoy dando vueltas en círculos, complicado cuando no me fijo en las calles con tal de ir haciendo fotos.

Últimamente veo a las personas más amables; ya no se meten tanto conmigo, me resulta raro, simplemente paso desapercibido.

Tengo pendiente tomar algunas imágenes de estas intersecciones cuando no esté funcionando el semáforo; se crea una dinámica muy interesante con todos los autos tratando de pasar a la misma vez.

Siempre buscando sombras y espacios de luz dura.

En ocasiones es como vivir por momentos una película de misterio, a veces de tensión y con mucho drama.
