Of Shadows and Faceless People. /Monomad Challenge [Eng/Esp]

Hello, dear friends.

Light is almost always the protagonist of my photography outings. The longer it lasts, the better; that way, the shadows become more intense, more expressive. And if we add to that the mystery that permeates every corner of the city, everything fits in with the narrative I am trying to construct: subjects who traverse the darkness, gradually making their way through a daily life that is not always bright in these surroundings.

That is what today's series is about: shadows and faceless people.

These snapshots 📸 are my submission for the #monomad challenge by @monochromes and @brumest.

Every day on the street is literally an adventure for me. It's a space to develop my creativity, to give free rein to my passion for photography. And if I add to that the pleasure of being able to share this work with you, the truth is that I couldn't ask for more.

Hola, queridos amigos.

La luz se convierte casi siempre en la protagonista de mis salidas fotográficas. Mientras más dura, mejor; así las sombras se vuelven más intensas, más expresivas. Y si a eso le sumamos el misterio que se respira en cada esquina de la ciudad, todo encaja con el discurso que intento construir: sujetos que atraviesan la oscuridad, abriéndose paso poco a poco en una cotidianidad que no siempre resulta luminosa en estos entornos.

De eso va la serie de hoy: sombras y personas sin rostro.

Cada día en la calle es psra mi, literalmente, una aventura. Un espacio para desarrollar la creatividad, para darle rienda suelta a la pasión por la fotografía. Y si a eso le añado el placer de poder compartir este trabajo con ustedes, la verdad es que no se puede pedir más.
