Hello, friends of #blackandwhite:

Yesterday I was trying to find a story, and when I had given up hope, I decided to go to the coast, and look what I found! Let me tell you: in the boardwalk area, there is a tradition of using the place as a beach, and there are also people who abandon animals. It turns out that some heartless soul had left two little dogs there. As soon as I saw them, I went over to them, but I didn't know what to do. I couldn't take them home with me, until suddenly, the real heroes arrived: some children came over and decided to rescue them right away.

One of them, in particular, instantly empathized with the puppy.

I blended in like one of them. It was funny because one of the guys told me to keep an eye out for the police. Sometimes the police go there, and if they catch you, you can get into trouble. What a task they gave the photographer! I just thought, "Running along the coast with five guys and two dogs... 🤣🤣🤣

Little by little, I became part of their dynamic until I took photos of them, listened to their stories, anecdotes, and dreams.

The puppies would be taken to their homes, and if they couldn't keep them, I gave them the address of an adoption center to take them to.

That's how I ended the afternoon, very satisfied and proud of my work. I believe that photography connects people and is such a powerful tool that I feel very proud to experience it firsthand.

I said goodbye to my new friends and rode my bike home. It was a bit far, but the exercise is good for my health.

Ayer estuve intentando encontrar alguna historia y, cuando ya lo había dado todo por perdido, decidí acercarme a la costa y ¡miren lo que encontré! Les cuento: en la zona del malecón hay tradición de usar el lugar como playa y también hay personas que abandonan animales. Resulta que algún alma sin sentimientos había dejado a dos perritos pequeños. En cuanto los vi, fui hacia ellos, pero no sabía qué hacer. No me los podía llevar a casa, hasta que, de pronto, llegaron los verdaderos héroes: algunos niños se acercaron y decidieron rescatarlos automáticamente.

Uno de ellos, en especial, empatizó al instante con el cachorro.

Y siguieron con su rutina: bañarse en el mar y conversar, siempre con su nuevo amigo cerca.
fusioné como uno más. Fue gracioso, porque un chico me dijo que vigilara por si venía la policía. A veces, los policías van a ese lugar y, si te atrapan, puedes tener problemas. ¡Menuda tarea le dieron al fotógrafo! Yo solo pensaba: «Corriendo por la costa con cinco chicos y dos perros... ja, ja, ja».

Poco a poco me fui incluyendo en su dinámica. Les hice fotos, escuché sus historias, anécdotas y sueños.

Los cachorros los llevarían a sus casas y, en caso de no poder quedárselos, les di la dirección de un centro de adopción para que los llevaran.

Así terminé la tarde, muy satisfecho y orgulloso de mi trabajo. Creo que la fotografía conecta a las personas y es una herramienta tan poderosa que me siento muy orgulloso de vivirla en primera persona.

Me despedí de mis nuevos amigos y regresé a casa en bicicleta. Era un poco lejos, pero el ejercicio viene bien a la salud.
