Hii vibes fam!

I missed the past two weeks (Hello vocal nodes, my old friend🤧), but I'm so glad to be back for this one.

Enemy by Imagine Dragons (From the amazing Arcane series) is a song I've been wanting to cover since I found the piano instrumental. I had this idea to layer multiple parts and harmonies.
The hardest part? Definitely trying to get the harmonies right, especially those high bits.
Thankfully, I regained my voice in time to get it done (hopefully it sounds the way I imagined in my head)😅.

The main message I got from the song is the idea of two-faced praise — how people can gas you up, make you feel admired, and then be the ones to tear you down when you’re not there.
It’s that unsettling realization that not every “congratulations” comes from a genuine place. Some people only celebrate you when it benefits them, when you fit their idea of who you should be, or when they’re in a better position themselves.
That mix of admiration and quiet resentment really stood out to me, and I think that’s part of what drew me to the song — that tension between being lifted up and being quietly put down.🤧
