Hello friends! I hope you are doing well! Today, I want to wish you a beautiful and special Valentine's Day, a day of love and friendship, for those who have a partner or, like me, those of us who are alone haha (crying laughter). I made this drawing for you, the Holozing community, who are like part of my family! I hope you like it a lot!

¡Hola amigos! ¡Espero que estén bien! Hoy quiero desearles un bonito y especial día de San Valentín, día del amor y la amistad, para los que tienen su pareja o, como yo, los que estamos solos jaja "risa llorando". ¡Hice este dibujo para ustedes, la comunidad de Holozing, que son como parte de mi familia! ¡Espero que les guste mucho!

Process/Proceso

We begin the character's sketch. At this point, I had planned for it to be a square gift with a bow, but I changed this idea to a heart-shaped box and a note; we can see this in the final sketch in red. Once it's ready, we do the line art in black.

Iniciamos el boceto del personaje; en este punto tenía pensado que fuera un regalo cuadrado con un lazo, pero cambié esta idea por una caja de corazón y una nota. Esto lo podemos ver en el boceto final en color rojo. Una vez listo, hacemos el lineart en color negro.

We added the base color. I made a pink background with a white ring brush; later, I downloaded a heart brush to give it another Valentine's Day touch.

Agregamos el color base. Hice un fondo rosa con un pincel de aros blancos; posteriormente, descargué un pincel de corazones para darle otro toque de San Valentín.

Here we add details to the background with the heart brush. We start adding details from the clothing to the skin, applying shadow and highlights, and then blending.

Aquí agregamos detalles al fondo con el pincel de corazones. Empezamos a dar detalles desde la ropa hasta la piel; aplicamos sombra y brillo, y luego difuminamos.

I was trying different things with the details, leaving them a bit more "careless" to give them that brushstroke effect I like so much. Now, all that's left is to adjust the colors.

Estuve intentando cosas diferentes en los detalles al dejarlos un poco más descuidados para darle ese efecto de pinceladas que tanto me gusta. Ya solo queda ajustar los colores.

Using the Corel PHOTO-PAINT program, we make a general color adjustment; I do this occasionally and then decide if it looks better this way. This was the result.

Usando el programa Corel PHOTO-PAINT, hacemos un ajuste de colores en general; esto lo hago ocasionalmente y luego decido si se ve mejor de esta forma. Este fue el resultado.
