I discovered ecency when I joined the Hive Blockchain and a friend request that referred me then told me how ecency app is friendly used with different features and rewards from it. So since then, I have fallen in love with ecency.

I first discovered ecency through a Hive Call Up Day advertisement on Twitter,now call X.
That caught my attention, so I used it to register on the Hive blockchain through ecency as my frontend,though I wasn't onboarded at the time.

My case was unique because I discovered Ecency first and then the Hive environment itself. Thanks to @maylink, I discovered Ecency when she posted about it on her social media. Intrigued, I asked her what that website was where she originally published her post, and she told me. I was captivated by the magic of Ecency, and even after discovering other Hive interfaces, I decided to remain loyal to Ecency.

Actually, a friend had told me about Ecency a while back. It wasn't until last year, around Christmas (coincidentally), that @iriswrite contacted me and explained how Ecency works and convinced me to join. And that's what I did at the beginning of January this year.
It's almost been a year!

When I got my hive account, I got with the help of @tommy. He helped me get the account through Hive.blog but that account was dormant for some years. It was when I was introduced to ecency by @mfontom that I found the Blockchain exciting. It was Ecency the brought the excitement and the awesome benefits of #hive blockchain to me. Ecency makes me enjoy working here ever since. I'm not saying that other frontends aren't good. It only that Ecency appeals to me more.

How I got to know about Ecency was when I first created my hive account through my sister, she gave me my keys and helped me login to the Ecency site and that's how my journey with Ecency started, with time I got to know other Dapps but Ecency stood out for me.
Since that time till now, I have always enjoyed using the Ecency Dapp for mostly all my transactions here on the Blockchain.

i really don't remember to long ago

I discovered Ecency app a couple of months after I joined in May of 2017. I have limited use all my left hand and have difficulty typing on a keyboard, so being able to use my phone was the only reason I stayed here! I have watched the app evolve and change over the years and am quite proud to be an Ecency pioneer!

I don't really remember but it wasone of the first platforms smd communities I joined here. Also, I remember it was called Esteem and I fell in love right after I found it.

Yo descubrí ecency como dos semanas después de crear mi cuenta en hive, recuerdo que no entendía nada de la blockchain, y me puse a investigar y estudiar como funcionaba, en ese buscar de entender fui usando cada dapps de hive , entre ellas ecency, me era enredado porque todo estaba en inglés y mi idioma materno es español, pero con las actualizaciones y paciencia sigo aca 😊

I discovered Ecency about two weeks after creating my Hive account. I remember that I didn't understand anything about blockchain, so I started researching and studying how it worked. In my quest to understand, I used every Hive dapp, including Ecency. It was confusing because everything was in English and my native language is Spanish, but with updates and patience, I'm still here 😊

I tried to open account in HIVE and ecency was a free options to open a account. So I entered in HIVE through ecency and I realized I am very much comfortable using ecency and I started to use it on regular basis. So, I acknowledged about every from the first day even if I didn't know about it's facilities.

I can't exactly remember what happened, but I joined ecency right from steemit days when it was called esteem . Esteem was one of the first dapp with an app on the Blockchain and I preferred app to using website.

Ever since, I've being using ecency

I was looking for dapp inventory on Hive keychain chain and I found this cool logo of a mobile interface to interact with Hive.

I joined the Hive ecosystem about 5 months ago through my mentor @ivyann and she launched me into the system via #Ecency Community.

After interacting more with members and staff of the ecency community, I started using it more. Before, I used Peakd a lot, but then I got so used to ecency that I used it by default. I'd also like to send a shout-out to my friend @melinda010100

I was shown how to use Ecency by @fokusnow. After he onboarded me, he opened up Ecency for me and directed me on how to write and comment on short contents, and to use it on long form posts. I have been enjoying it's quick attentions and the smooth navigations in every aspect of it.

I read the ecency announcement post by @good-karma loooonng times ago, it was on Steem and i don't even remember previous ecency name.

I arrived at Hive on January 7, 2021; in 2026, I will celebrate five years on the platform. A few months later, I found out about Ecency and its particularity of points. It caught my attention, but since I was a little disoriented about what and how to publish, it took a few months until a day came when I was invited to participate in the 2.º Annual Ecency Art Competition.

At that moment, my life changed. To participate, I generated a video and, being in the middle of the creation task, I felt that I had become a painter throwing brushstrokes on a canvas.

In that creation, I wanted to capture my feelings at the moment when Ecency came to me, or I came to her. I remember that it was a night when I was like the good guys; I was at the beginning of my video editing, and I wanted to leave something that captivated the observer and made it clear my great affection for Ecency and, consequently, for Hive.

Throughout the process of generating the video and an additional GIF, I kept an indescribable emotion; the joy was latent, and the smile did not disappear from my face.

It is from that moment that I told myself that I would never part with Ecency. This was reaffirmed because, after my participation was published, I received many motivating comments that showed that Ecency is a wonderful family. Someone I admire and who has always motivated me has been @melinda010100. She, with her way of being, is a great engine that drives us to be here.

In the 2.º Annual Ecency Art Contest, I participated with a video and added a GIF. Today I searched for my post, and I found the displeasure that 3Speak deleted my videos more than two years ago. I don't know the reason, but the good thing is that I had backed up the video on my YouTube channel. I bring them to you for you to enjoy, and below I share the GIF that is also on the Ecency-Videos channel on the Ecency Discord server.

I love Ecency, and I will be around for a long, long time.

Llegué a Hive un 7 de enero de 2021; en 2026 cumplo cinco años en la plataforma. A los pocos meses me enteré de Ecency y de su particularidad de los puntos. Me llamó la atención, pero como estaba un poco desorientado respecto a qué y cómo publicar, pasaron algunos meses hasta que llegó un día en el que se me invitó a participar en el 2.º Concurso Anual de Arte Ecency.
En ese momento mi vida cambió. Para participar, generé un video y, al estar en plena faena de creación, sentí que me transformé en un pintor que lanzaba pinceladas sobre un lienzo.
En esa creación, quería plasmar mis sentimientos en el momento en que Ecency vino a mí o yo llegué a ella. Recuerdo que fue una noche en que me fajé como los buenos; estaba en mis comienzos de edición de videos y quería dejar algo que cautivara al observador y le dejara claro mi gran cariño por Ecency y, en consecuencia, por Hive.
En todo el proceso de la generación del video y de un gif adicional mantuve una emoción indescriptible; la alegría estaba latente y la sonrisa no se me borraba del rostro.
Es a partir de ese momento que me dije que nunca me separaría de Ecency. Esto se reafirmó porque, después de publicada mi participación, me llegaron muchos comentarios motivadores que mostraban que Ecency es una maravillosa familia. Alguien a quien admiro y quien siempre me ha motivado ha sido @melinda010100. Ella, con su forma de ser, es un gran motor que nos impulsa a estar aquí.
En ese 2.º Concurso Anual de Arte Ecency participé con un video y agregué un gif. Hoy busqué mi publicación y me encontré con el desagrado de que 3Speak borró mis videos con más de dos años. La razón la desconozco, pero lo bueno es que el video lo había respaldado en mi canal de YouTube. Se los traigo para que los disfruten y más abajo les comparto el gif que también está en el canal Ecency-Videos en el servidor de Ecency en Discord.
Me encanta Ecency y estaré por estos lados por mucho, mucho tiempo.

Hola, yo descubrí Ecency por unas publicaciones de @osomar357 y @nahuelgameplays; gracias a ellos comencé a aprender de la dapp y comencé a usarla.
Me gustó mucho por lo fácil que es publicar y tener guardados fragmentos de código para las publicaciones. Además de una app para el móvil que hace más sencillo estar conectado.
Los puntos ecency me han sido de mucha ayuda; al principio los usaba como un boost extra en mis publicaciones, ahora busco usarlos para aumentar el crecimiento de mi cuenta con la delegación de HP.

I don't remember exactly when I discovered it. There were posts like @melinda010100's where the link was, but I didn't really understand it. I didn't know how to use it; I wanted to understand the different Hive dApps and learn how to use them. I think I saw several explanations from @osomar357 and posts from @palomap3, and I asked them some questions. The truth is, once you learn it, it's very practical and helpful. The drafts make my day-to-day work much easier.

No recuerdo exactamente cuando lo descubrí, había post como el de @melinda010100 donde estaba el enlace, pero no entendía mucho, no sabía como manejarlo, quería entender las diferentes dapps de hive aprender a manejarlas. Creo que vi varias explicaciones de @osomar357 y publicaciones de @palomap3 y les preguntaba algunas dudas. La verdad es que cuando se aprende resulta muy practica y de mucha ayuda. Los borradores me facilitan el día a día.

I can barely remember when I first started using @ecency since it was so long ago.

It came from a need for a mobile front end for hive (maybe it was steem it was so long ago?) and I tried a few. Turned out this one was the most simple, stable and usable for me and all of the extra functionality (Ecency points, post promotion, curation ease, #waves, etc) was just so nice.

Took me a while but I even delegated to Ecency to help make content creation and curation a tiny bit more rewarding for those who use it.

I discovered Ecency while searching for a better mobile Hive experience. I was drawn to its user-friendly app and generous rewards for engagement.

I discovered ecency when I was introduced to Hive by @ijelady 3 months ago. I was so happy because it made my presence in hive blockchain easier.

I discovered @ecency thanks to my husband @hjrrodriguez, who used to post things. I would watch his posts and even help him with the photos sometimes, until I decided to open my own account and gradually learn how it works, as well as the economic advantages we can get from using it.

I discovered Ecency in a pretty simple way. I always posted from Hive Block, and one day the nodes were failing. To avoid wasting the day, I switched to Ecency, and everything worked perfectly. Plus, I got great support, and now I'm here to stay.

Descubri ecency de una manera bastante senciila y es que siempre publicaba desde hive blo y un dia los nodos estaban fallando y para no perder el dia, me fui para ecency y todo funciono de la mejor manera, ademas un gran apoyo y ahora estoy fijo por aqui.

Thanks to my younger brother @ferod23 who told me about Hive back then under a different name, but I didn't pay much attention. Later on, I decided to participate here with all of you, and as I started discovering apps, he told me about @ecency, which he thought was the easiest to use for newcomers. And here we are! From that moment until now, I've only used it to write my posts.

Ecency is one of Hive's applications that is quite complete, since when you make your publication through it you get everything you need to make a good blog; I discovered it some time after I registered on the platform.

When I arrived hive I was on boarded via the ecency app and since then I've been using and loving it. Thanks to @alovely088 for the onboarding and being both hive and ecency to me.

Good morning, greetings to everyone, sorry I couldn't respond on the corresponding day. In 2018, a friend told me about a website where I could create a blog and publish anything I wanted. I was excited and created an account on Steemit, as it was called at the time, but I couldn't figure out how to publish anything. It was difficult for me to understand the commands I needed to use, and I didn't know who to ask for help, so I gave up. In 2021, a friend of my sister's told her about a website, very similar to the one I had already heard about, but it was called Hive Blog. However, it was oversaturated and not everyone was given the option to create an account. I tried and failed, but after doing some research, I realized that I could create an account there with the same information as Steemit, so I did.

From there, I started creating my posts. I had someone to guide me through it, and then the changes began. I arrived at Ecency, and I have remained loyal to this platform. I am still adapting to the new changes they have made, but as the saying goes, “Every day you learn something new,” so here we are, putting our minds to work so as not to disappoint our readers.
