Why Rewrite the Past When I Can Travel to the Future? Choosing the Future Over the Past- Contest #277
Traveling to the future is definitely a choice I will always make if I'm opportuned to travel through time, the past is gone and should remain in the past.
A travel through time to the future is an opportunity for clarity, a chance to see what life holds for me in the future and that's a craving desire, that would guide me through the choices I make in every step.
I believe it will be an opportunity that will prevent further mistakes in the future, an opportunity that will grant me clarity and better understanding of who I want to be, a guidance and insight to my path in the future and give me a leading path.
So, if I'm opporturned to choose between traveling to the future and past I will definitely choose the future.
We are all optimistic of a bright future, but in reality the future is unpredictable, anything can happen, things we can't even control .
About five or six years ago, I was a teenage girl , who was so happy to be going to University to study a course that the situation of education in her country offered her and not what she had passion for, I was still very optimistic and hopeful for a bright future in that career, but after graduation it hasn't been easy gaining ground in this career and not as I envisioned then, but no regrets.
Just imagine I had what it takes to travel through the future before making certain decisions, I wouldn't have been in a haste, I would have realized I was even very young to go to university and looked into other career paths or stick to my first career option.
I would have made a different career choice, because the one I made in the past is a decision I made without clarity, made out of convinction and control.
Now I can't even consider going to the past, because going to the past and correcting the past will have it effects on other favourable decisions I made in those years too. I have come to realize that humans make peace with whatever it's that have happened in the past, but I will appreciate an opportunity to see the future in my new path, that would guide me through life.
Traveling to the future will enable me make better life decision and see the consequences of my actions in the future.
If I had the power to see the future and travel through time, there are many decisions I wouldn't have made in the past, I'm not regretting but rather if I have seen what the future holds , I would have embraced a different career path.
The past can't be controlled, but the future can be controlled, going back to the future will lead to preparation and clarity.
An insight to the future will really build my confidence, reduces the fear I have when I want to make new decisions and guide me through life with clarity and understanding.
If I could travel through time, I will always choose to go through the future, instead of a past that I have already experienced and can't change.
A journey through the future is an opportunity for clarity, preparation and insight.

Woah, you are correct, instead of dwelling in the past, it is better to move forward with what life has to offer us in the future. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Personally, the way things are going I am expecting a dystopian future for humanity and my children. It would be advantageous to get a sneak peak to what I can prepare my family for.
