Starting the Day with Peace: My Morning Routine. #270

Good day, people of Hive! Welcome to my blog. Today’s topic is from Ladies of Hive, so let’s dive in.

I’m happy to be back here after so many days because it has been a long time since I last posted on Hive. Without wasting much time, let me dive into today’s topic.

Honestly, life is really too short to worry too much. I have come to realize that worrying too much does not solve problems. Instead, it only adds to them, and because of that, it makes life harder for us. Many times, we worry about things we cannot control or things that may not even happen. But the truth is that while we are busy worrying, life keeps moving. That is why there is an adage that says: Time waits for nobody. which is true.

That is why I like to start my mornings in a calm and simple way, without stress. Whenever I wake up, I don’t just jump out of bed. Instead, I stay on my bed for a few minutes, at least ten minutes. During that time, I pray to God and thank Him for keeping me alive and giving me another opportunity to see a new day. Being alive is not by my power, strength, or grace, but by God’s mercy.

After that, I go to my brother’s room so we can do our morning devotion together, since we are in the same school and living in the same compound but different rooms. It has become part of our daily routine to pray in the morning when we wake up to start the day and pray again at night before going to bed. Morning devotion always helps me start my day in a good mood. Whenever I begin my day with prayer, I always feel refreshed, and my mind feels lighter because prayer is important and it truly works.

When we are done praying, I move on to my normal everyday morning chores. I fetch water and fill all the buckets in my room, sweep my room and compound, take my bath, and prepare for the day. If it is a school day and I still have enough time, I don’t rush, instead I take my time to dress up myself. On days when I’m at home, I take things even more slowly, sometimes a little faster, but I try to avoid unnecessary stress.

In conclusion, starting my morning this way helps me stay peaceful and puts me in a good and happy mood. Beginning each day with prayer and calmness always helps me face the day with a positive mindset.

This is my entry for the Ladies Of Hive Community Contest.
