Since I was little, my mother introduced me to the world of literature. I started with books by Dora Alonso and Nicolás Guillén, representative authors of my country.

As time passed, my bookshelf grew, and my tastes in literature changed, but I still hold on to the first books from my childhood with affection and suspicion. And so, without even realizing it, I began collecting them.

Here's a sample of my small, childlike collection.

I attach great importance to my treasured treasure, as it reminds me every moment of the little girl I once was and keeps my childhood intact within me. Despite being somewhat battered over time, their pages hold countless morals that I still use today.

Now my collection is shared with my son at home. Every night before bed, I choose a book and tell him one of its wonderful stories, while also teaching him the importance of caring for them and the value of having these books at home.

Books are part of our history, of our roots. From childhood, they satisfy a range of needs, from social interaction to intellectual stimulation. They provide us with companionship, emotional support, advice, and a rich lesson.

Un cordial saludo a todas las Ladies de nuestra gran colmena. Gracias una vez más por la interesante iniciativa.

Desde pequeña mi mamá me introdujo al mundo de la literatura. Comencé con libros de Dora Alonso y Nicolás Guillén,autores representativos de mi país.

Con el paso del tiempo mi espacio en el librero fue creciendo, mis gustos en la literatura fueron cambiando, pero los primeros libros de la infancia aún los guardo con cariño y recelo. Y así sin apenas darme cuenta comencé a coleccionarlos.

Aquí te dejo muestra de mi pequeña e infantil colección.

Le concedo una gran importancia a mi tesoro guardado, puesto que me recuerda a cada instante la pequeña que fui y mantiene intacta la niñez en mi interior.A pesar de estar un poco maltratados con el tiempo guardan en sus páginas un sinfín de moralejas que en la actualidad aún utilizo.

Ahora mi colección es compartida con mi niño en casa, todas las noches antes de dormir escojo un libro y le narro uno de sus maravillosos cuentos, además de transmitirle la importancia del cuidado y el valor de tener estos ejemplares en casa.

Los libros son parte de la historia, de nuestras raíces, son los que desde pequeño nos satisfacen una serie de necesidades como la interacción social hasta la estimulación intelectual, nos brindan compañía, apoyo emocional, consejos y una rica enseñanza.
