INTER-RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE: A FORM OF CROSS-HUMAN LOVE: HIVE WOMEN'S COMMUNITY COMPETITION #266

Hello ladies in the hive π
Hello @ladiesofhive
This is my third post in the LOH community.
In the 266th round of the LADIES OF HIVE contest, hosted by the community and judged by @priyanarc, I chose the first theme, which is about the holidays of the three Abrahamic religions (Judaism, Paganism, and Christianity).
I will begin my first post with two questions:
Have I ever participated in a religious holiday other than my own?....
What lessons have I learned from participating in a tradition of celebrating together that isn't yours?....
Before I answer the above question, I want to tell you a little about my family, which is quite diverse and upholds the values ββof pluralism and tolerance. It's important to note that my father is Christian and my mother is Muslim. My family is peaceful, with no arguments due to differences in religion or beliefs. Your children are given the freedom to choose a religion that aligns with their individual life principles.
Well, based on my family background, I will answer the first question with this answer:
I often celebrate Christian holidays, especially Christmas. Almost every year, my father's Christian family invites me to attend the Christmas celebrations, which are usually held in December.
My father always taught me about the importance of brotherhood among human beings, so that the values ββof humanity, love, and compassion can be realized without the limitations of religion, country, culture, or even language. Unity is the most important thing my family taught me from a young age.
I remember when my father loved playing John Lennon's song "Imagine," my father always imagined with hope that humanity would always share and live in peace.
My father even always taught me to emulate Muslim figures like Salahudin Al-Ayyuibi or the Christian figure King Baldwin. Both of these figures, if I'm not mistaken, were adapted into a film called "The Kingdom of Heaven."
So, to answer the second question about what lessons I learned from following other people's traditions, the answer is many, including the following:
Learning about other people's cultures, holidays, and religious traditions.
Cultivating bonds of brotherhood.
Instilling the values ββof unity and brotherhood in my children.
Teaching me that differences are God's blessings that we should protect as best we can.
Differences should make people more grateful, not cause them to quarrel.
Of these five lessons I've learned, my life is safe, I never fight, and I have many siblings from different religions and beliefs. Living with many siblings is safe and comfortable.
Finally, I'd like to quote what my father often told me about the importance of fostering brotherhood with people of different religions and cultures. He said:
Those who differ from our religion are our brothers in humanity.
Thank you for your attention, friends. I hope this article is helpful. I apologize if any of my words have offended you.
Greetings to my friends at Ladies Oh Hive who share different religions, cultures, and traditions. Greetings of love, greetings of brotherhood, greetings of unity. ππππ
