ADVICE FROM A SISTER AS A MOTHER'S SUBSTITUTE: LADIES OF HIVE COMMUNITY CONTEST #260

Hello ladies of the hive. Good afternoon to all women around the world. Greetings from me, a new member.

As a new member of this community, let me introduce myself. My name is Novelia Ika Sari. I'm over 40, married, and have two daughters and one son.

In the 260th round of the LADIES OF HIVE contest, hosted by the community and judged by the judge and questioner @merit.ahama, I chose the first theme, which is advice from fellow women and female figures who inspire and idolize me.

Let's start with one question:

If someone were to ask: Is there advice more valuable than money?

Then I would answer 'yes', and there will always be great advice more valuable than money, even more valuable than gold and diamonds.

I believe that words of wisdom will change the world. I believe that wise words can change people. There's a saying that soldiers change the world with shots, while wise people change the world with words.

As you can see, in the photo, I'm with my eldest sister, who has always been a substitute mother figure since my mother's death.

Yes, it's thanks to my older sister guidance that I now live by the principles of wisdom and kindness. Principles that make my life and my household peaceful and calm.

I still remember and will always remember my older sister advice. She said: Wisdom demands that you learn from everything, from everyone, and from your own mistakes. The best wisdom is to do good to others. The good you give to the world will one day return to you.

That advice has always been my compass in facing life's many challenges. It's a compass in finding solutions and a compass in finding the lessons behind every problem.

Thanks to this advice, I always learn not only from people who share my opinion but also from the opinions of others. Thanks to that advice, I always consider every person and every event to be a teacher and an unwritten lesson.

Next, I'd like to talk about a woman who inspires me and whom I idolize, besides my sister, a female activist named Nawal El Sadawi. She's a powerful and resilient woman who fights patriarchal culture with her intelligent and revolutionary thinking.

From Nawal, I've learned a lot about the importance of being an intelligent and insightful woman. From Nawal, I've also learned to be a woman who encourages and supports women's creativity. Therefore, I'm an active member of a community in my city, a community that focuses on empowering women, especially married women.
