I must say that my love for plants is immense, as demonstrated by what I've been able to do to live with some plants because in the area where I live, we don't have the option of having a garden, something that has always accompanied me in all the houses I've lived in.

Despite not having land to make a garden, I've been able to have garden plants and have been able to combine the useful with the pleasant because among my plants you'll find cacti, medicinal plants like aloe vera, mint, and meprobamate, and other plants that bloom at certain times of the year and give my plants a beautiful color.

I must say I have potted plants scattered around my porch, some inside the house, and the majority on the second-floor terrace.

One of my priorities is to tend to my plants daily. The peace I feel when watering them, removing weeds, turning the soil, and keeping them beautiful is incredible.

I must say that the care I give them is reciprocated with the quality of their appearance, the beauty of their flowers and leaves, and everything they give me in terms of my health.

My husband has seen me talking to them several times and asks if this isn't a sign of madness.

What he doesn't understand is that plants are part of my universe, and in my retirement, they are an expression of the love and connection that the plants and I have for each other.

Debo decir que tengo plantas en macetas regadas por mi portal, algunas dentro de la casa y la mayor cantidad en la terraza de la segunda planta de la casa.

Una de mis prioridades es atender de manera diaria a mis plantas. Es increíble la paz que me trasmite regarlas, quitarles las malezas, removerles la tierra y mantenerlas bellas.

Debo decir que el cuidado que le doy es retribuido con la calidad de sus fisionomías, la belleza de sus flores y hojas y todo lo que me dan en función de mi salud.

Mi esposo me ha visto hablar varias veces con ellas y me pregunta si eso no es algún síntoma de locura.

Lo que no entiende es que las plantas forman parte de mi universo y en mi jubilación son una expresión del amor y la complicidad que nos tenemos las plantas y yo.
