1. What is the best advice you have received from a strong woman? Describe a strong female character who has inspired you or inspires you.

When I stop to reflect in my life, there will always be something or someone who has given me advice, but that strong woman who has inspired me with all her teachings is my mother, who left more than two years ago to meet our Creator, because she knew that the only way to overcome fear is to face it.

My mother, that selfless and loving woman, always knew how to give me advice and the right words, like a true sage. When she saw me and my siblings facing problems, she told us not to "drown in a glass of water."

She also told us that there will always be problems, some worse than others, but you can't expect to fix everything all at once. That's achieved little by little, step by step, day by day, by making small decisions, making small progress, and accepting the things that, while I can't change them, I can improve them. Especially when I received my diagnosis of progressive hearing loss, she always offered me her unconditional support.

Learning that success requires us to maintain a strong connection between values and our personal integrity

As an older sister and as a mother, I've felt like I can continue my mother's legacy, a living example of the woman of steel we often must be to transmit love, courage, enthusiasm, and faith, like an eternal legacy that never ends, with the immense love for my family that cannot be explained in words. We only know that it exists, that it is there, and that it nourishes us in life's most difficult moments.

The love she gave me was a love without measure. No matter how tired I was, she was always there to support me, to give me her embrace. It is the gift God gave me. She was my driving force in so many things. With her, I was able to learn that success requires us to maintain a strong connection between values and our personal integrity if we want to achieve it. I also learned that I must continue my path with effort on life's journey, and that every day is a new learning experience.

My gratitude toward my mother is priceless, for bringing me into this world, and I also know that thanks to her, I am what I am and who I am. It's a gratitude I have as a daughter, for everything she did with her work, her love and dedication to us, her children, and her family. I thank God for my mother, because I was blessed to have her. She taught me to love my daughter with the strength I do.

2. Write about a time you overcame self-doubt

All human beings, throughout life, go through a wide variety of very different emotions. In particular, for some time I was clinging to the past, wondering if I had done this or that, if I hadn't been so indecisive, if I had said yes when I should have said no. All of this caused me a certain anguish, and there came a time when my mind only focused on what could have been and wasn't.

Shortly after, I began reading and listening to topics about personal and spiritual growth. I decided to close the doors without rancor after a breakup, thinking about everything I had achieved during that time, the benefits I had gained, and how grateful I was for all those experiences that helped me grow as a person.

I am the result of my beliefs, my fears, my past, and what I think about myself

I think that as a woman, I've been able to accept that I am the result of my beliefs, my fears, my past, and what I think about myself. I may have doubts about whether or not I want to risk becoming that fulfilled and confident woman. So, I could say that I desire it with my mind, and therefore, achieving it will be a little more difficult. But when I desire something with my heart, I can dream it, and therefore, it has already become a part of me.

Today I can allow myself to be optimistic, and this will be reflected in those around me. I feel like I've grown up now, because problems are becoming too much for me. I know that everything is possible when I have the attitude and purpose to do what I want, because I understand that good and bad experiences are just setbacks and lessons that come into my life.

Cuando me detengo a reflexionar que en mi vida siempre habrá algo o alguien que me ha dado sus consejos, pero esa mujer fuerte quien me ha inspirado con todas sus enseñanzas, es mi señora madre, quien partió hace más de dos años al encuentro con nuestro creador, porque ella sabía que la única manera de superar el miedo es enfrentándolo.

Mi madre, esa mujer que fue abnegada cariñosa, sabía darme siempre un consejo y acertar en sus palabras, como toda una sabia, ella cuando nos veía a mí a mis hermanos frente a problemas, nos decía que "no nos ahogáramos en un vaso de agua".

También nos decía que siempre habrá problemas, unos peores que otros, pero no pueda pretender arreglar todo de golpe, eso se logra poco a poco, pasito a pasito, día a día tomando pequeñas decisiones, haciendo pequeños progresos y aceptando las cosas que aunque no puedo cambiar si podía mejorar, especialmente cuando recibí mi diagnóstico de pérdida auditiva progresiva, ella siempre brindándome su apoyo incondicional.

Aprender que el éxito nos exige mantener una gran conexión de los valores y nuestra integridad personal

Como hermana mayor y como madre, he tenido la sensación de poder ser la continuación de mi madre, un ejemplo vivo de la mujer de acero que muchas veces debemos ser para transmitir el amor, el valor, el entusiasmo y la fe, como una herencia eterna que no se termina nunca, con el inmenso amor hacia mi familia que no puede explicarse con palabras, sólo sabemos que existe, que está ahí y que nos alimenta en los momentos más difíciles de la vida.

Mi gratitud hacia mi madre no tiene precio, por traerme a este mundo y sé también que gracias a ella, soy lo que soy y quien soy, es un agradecimiento que tengo como hija, por todo lo que hizo con su trabajo, su amor y dedicación hacia nosotros sus hijos y su familia, doy gracias a Dios por mi madre, porque tuve la bendición de tenerla, me enseñó a amar a mi hija con la fuerza que lo hago.

2. Escribe sobre una ocasión en la que superaste las dudas sobre ti mismo

Pienso que como mujer he podido aceptar que soy el resultado de mis creencias, mis miedos, mi pasado y de lo que pienso de mí misma, puedo tener dudas respecto de si quiero arriesgarme o no a ser esa mujer plena y segura.
