Breakfast With High Protein - Omelete Mozzarella

Its difficult to gain muscle mass without enough protein. Once, I feel like I wasn't get enough protein, and my whole body ach the next day. My body feel incredibly stiff, my muscles so heavy, and it just happened. Everything seem so painful, and I felt like I need to rest all day. I was sick for two days from exhaustion. Really, i feel it pain.

I'm constantly to get enough protein, and it has to start in the morning. If I eat too many carbohydrates on an empty stomach, I'll just craving sugar, sugar, and sugar. It won't stop until my whole body feels numb that's what happens when you have diabetes.

So, I always make time to cook anything with protein. Protein and fat in the morning are something I always have to do, even if I crave bread, I always add egg whites and pea protein. Like this time, a high-protein breakfast that's equally interesting and tastes very good.

Simple ingredients:

  • 3 eggs (sometimes I only use 2 egg yolks)
  • ½ a large onion, cabbage (for fiber)
  • ½ tablespoon cornstarch
  • Pinch of sea salt and pepper
  • 40 grams of mozzarella
  • 10 ml olive oil
  • Torch for grill the mozzarella

The ingredients are ready, and it's time to cook this high protein breakfast. Are you ready?

  • Peel the onions, take the cabbage, then thin slice them. I like this onion cause it has a crunchy texture when bitten into gently. Grate or chop the mozzarella, then it's time to prepare the other ingredients.

  • Crack the eggs, scoop out the egg yolks, and you can save the yolks. I'm going to share this with my husband and choose to use all the yolks. Then, add a little salt and pepper, whisking them together until well combined.

  • Sauté the onions in olive oil until lightly browned and the pan is lightly oiled to prevent sticking. Pour in the eggs and cook until fully cooked. This is usually called an omelet.

  • Then, sprinkle the mozzarella over the top and torch it over a flame. You can use the microwave or cover it with something to melt it, but I like the slight aroma of the grill; it enhances the flavor of the mozzarella.

  • Add the optional sauce for a little spice. Enjoy your breakfast!

Tortillas will always be the perfect breakfast. I love the way you made it with mozzarella cheese. Delicious, I might make a similar one for breakfast tomorrow.

I usually just grab bread or cereal in the morning, but seeing this makes me want to actually cook something healthier with protein
