The Sixth Sense

Sharks and rays are animals known with the sixth sense, they have organs known as the ampullae of lorenzini that helps them generate electric fields when other living things have muscle contractions around them. This is what humans can't have. In this modern world, one would be considered to have a technopathic superpower if one could develop these senses. We live in a world defined by electricity, sensing it directly would be a trait that would make a human extraordinary.

As humans, having the sixth sense would mean one can detect the presence of a person just by their heartbeat even if such person was hiding. It would make us more aware of our environment and help us sense the presence of danger even before it gets close. Such traits are important for security and hunting.

Also, one not only detects heartbeat but notices an irregular heart rhythm. You can easily tell if one is sick, afraid, surprised, or in love just by listening to their muscle spasm. This would help you relate well with yourself and individuals just by detecting their heart rhythm and you could easily get familiar with truth and lies just by listening to people's heart rhythm. Jobs like that of a detective would be a good catch.

Finally, through electroreceptors, a human would be able to feel the hums of live wires , even inside walls, and tell if a device is charged or short circuit without even looking at them. This means, one can feel the hums of electricity around him and tell if it contains live in it or not. The sixth sense to sense electric waves would be a useful tool in this modern world. But unfortunately, humans don't have the organ "ampullae of lorenzini" and as such, these traits are not possible to have, they remain a wish.
