Hey Hivers and SWC colleagues. Here I am sharing with you the second part of what went on behind the scenes at the 4th edition of Street Workout Duals Battles.
I want to tell you that I am very proud to be part of SWC. I don't say this very often in public, but for me it has been the best decision I could have made. Now let's get to the event... In the days leading up to everything we had worked for coming to fruition, the organizing team, led by community leader @manuelramos, community advisor @marlenyaragua, and myself, put in an incredible amount of effort. We worked hard to make it all possible.
Y el resultado me dejo sin palabras, con recuerdo que la noche de la entrega del kit del uniforme, le realice una llamada a mi madre diciéndole mira madre hoy estoy en la misma sala que el campeón mundial de Street Workout, esa emoción y esa alegría solo represento todo lo que nosotros como comunidad hemos logrado.
And the result left me speechless. I remember that on the night the uniform kit was delivered, I called my mother and told her, “Look, Mom, today I'm in the same room as the Street Workout world champion.” That excitement and joy represented everything that we as a community have achieved.
