SMAP 238 - Birds Of A Feather . . . Flock Together

Hello Feathered Friends Community. Welcome to Round 238 of the Show Me A Photo Contest hosted by @nelinoeva. If you haven't heard of this contest yet, check the contest post here. Join in the fun in this awesome contest.

The theme for this week is:

FLOCK

Being in a tropical country, we do not experience or see much migratory birds. For indeed with our weather, there are no extreme cold or hot temperatures. Birds can stay here anywhere in our country 24/7. As such, the theme for this week, which is Flock, was sort of a challenge for me until I found these photos in my archive. I think they're just perfect for the theme.

These are pigeons roosted on the electrical wires in a certain part of the city. The reason they are there is a bakery, which is located just across the street where these pigeons are perched, feeds them with bread that are about to expire, or maybe even expired already. Everyday, at this exact time, the pigeons begin coming in, waiting for feeding time. And word sure goes along fast, far and wide. Everyday, this horde of pigeons just gets getting bigger and bigger forming a really one big flock together.
