Hive open mic week 307// title "my helper has come" [original song] by @emmanuel50.
Hello everyone welcome to hive open mic week 307 I am @emmanuel50 and for this week entry I will be singing my original song, title "the Lord is my helper"
It makes me genuinely happy that the theme for this week is “Psalm” because the song I composed, “The Lord Is My Shepherd,” flows directly from that place of Scripture that has comforted believers for generations. When I was writing and singing it, my heart was anchored in Psalm 23 those simple but powerful words that begin with deep assurance and trust in God’s care.
For me, this song is not just lyrics and melody. It is a testimony. There have been seasons in my life when I felt uncertain about the future. Times when things did not move the way I expected, when prayers seemed quiet, and when responsibilities felt heavy. In those moments, the words “The Lord is my Shepherd” stopped being something I only read in the Bible and became something personal A shepherd guides, protects, and provides. That image alone gives me peace.
While studying the Scriptures, I also reflected on how the message of being rooted in Christ connects with the encouragement found in Ephesians being strengthened in faith and understanding the depth of God’s love. Even though Psalm 23 is in the Old Testament, its message of trust and divine care carries through the entire Bible.
This song has blessed my life because it reminds me that I am not walking alone. When I sing it, I feel calm. When I rehearse it, I feel reassured. When I minister it, I feel grateful. It shifts my focus from fear to faith.what I love most about this song is its simplicity. It does not try to be complicated. It simply declares truth. And sometimes, that is all the heart needs a simple reminder that God is leading, even when the path is unclear.
Singing “The Lord Is My Shepherd” is my way of expressing trust, surrender, and gratitude. It is more than a song to me, it is a personal confession of faith. I'm so excited to be among the participants of this amazing week entry of hive open Mic week 307, and as you all listing to my presentation may you all be blessed 🙌♥️

The lord is my shepherd

He makes me to lie down in the green pastures
He leads me beside the stream waters
He rescue my soul

He makes me to lie down in the green pastures
He leads me beside the stream waters
He rescue my soul
He rescue my soul ×2

The lord is my shepherd ahh ahhhh
The lord is my shepherd ahh ahhhh
The lord is my shepherd ohh ohhhh
The lord is my shepherd ohh ohhhh×4
The lord is my shepherd
I shall not lack
He makes me to lie down in the green pastures

Bravo! You've done an excellent job drawing inspiration from Psalm 23 and sharing music in your own unique style. Your proactive approach has made this week's activities truly special. You have a real talent for creating music, although I feel that part of composing for yourself is finding keys that suit your vocal range, as your own song ended up a bit high, nothing too high, but something you can keep in mind for the future. I'm so glad to have heard you today, and I'm sending you a warm hug from afar 🙏
