Hello awesome people of the Open Mic community. It’s your boy @akwash360. For this week’s rendition, I decided to do a cover of the song “Saturate My Heart” by Minister Theophilus Sunday. This song has blessed me so much over the week that I’ve had it on repeat. To me, it’s more than just a song it’s a heart cry and a powerful message to hold on to. It is also a song that exalts the name of the Lord. Just as the songwriter proclaims, it is a cry for God to saturate the heart and cause an overflow a deep yearning for his Spirit to move in mysterious ways.

Personally, I believe Minister Theophilus is a gifted worship minister who carries a strong anointing. His style of ministration is uniquely different from other gospel artists I’ve listened to, and his songs always bless me. What amazes me most is that many of his ministrations are live performances. He rarely records in the studio, yet he delivers excellently on stage, unlike some artists who can only perform well in a studio after multiple edits. Theophilus is truly gifted, and I greatly admire his passion for God’s work.
