If I ever won a scholarship in my life and was asked to study or learn something new, then I would choose to learn Japanese. It's not only about learning a language but also mastering another language to dive into a complete different culture, I have been fascinated by it for past few years.

The reason for me to learn Japanese is because the love I have for it. It would feel like that I am learning a secret code of another world. There are separate section of japanese which is hiragana, katakana, and kanji they are challenging to learn yet rewarding. There are too many complexity but still it excites me a lot, after mastering I can read and write the original words of japanese.

I will be watching anime without subtitles and understand the opening and ending songs which is going to make me go crazy, also I can read manga in Japanese I won't have to wait for the English translated version, I really want to understand japanese without any filter and feel the beauty of Japanese.

@jamerussell has been helping me a lot to learn Japanese, he has opened few doors for me to learn it faster. There are few major things I didn't know about learning Japanese but he has englightened and inspired me.

I feel learning Japanese would help me to connect with the culture more deeply and I can understand their tradition the more I learn about japanese. Being able to understand the language would help me appreciate their culture more.

Also, after being a professional in Japanese language I can also look out for some opportunities in the future, as I can start working in a japanese company or maybe at a restaurant. I can open my own shop there. Anyway Japan has a strong global presence in business.

Of course I will need to practice it consistently otherwise I won't be fluent in it. After receiving a scholarship I would dedicate my whole time to the journey. I would try to make some new friend who are interested in the same sector so that I can study the language and practice it with them. My goal is not only to be fluent but also cultural understanding.

Overall, I have already decided what I would do with my scholarship and I think my decision won't change in the future. I will try to make it happen for real as I am very dedicated towards learning something new. It is a great path for my career opportunities.

Even now without the scholarship I am still learning Japanese by my own. But I have regular classes and I don't find enough time to study japanese but I am slowly learning it, I feel learning slowly is a great method if I try to speed up the process then I might end up getting frustrated. I also want to live in Japan for a long time so for that reason it's really important for me to stay focused on this one language.
