For week 410, I am getting some outdoor spring beers in and celebrating the 4th of May.

I find myself enjoying fewer pints on the town due to budgeting reasons and the fact we brew some of the best beer around and have it on tap at our office and at home. That being the case, gotta be social and have a little fun out in the wild at the pubs and taprooms from time to time.

This one is a late night pint enjoyed with my friends over at Revival House after a long enjoyable day of golf. I will get to that part next but now for this hazy beauty. It is a Forefathers Brewing Starter IPA which is a little lighter but I have come to really enjoy it. Especially when there are fancy lamps in the background!

The Guest Pint!

@Parabyte really should get back on the blockchain as a #beersaturday author for all the pints he sends me. I am a big fan of Bellwoods Brewery and have had Monogamy IPA before. Smooth, hazy and not overly hoppy. Golfing Beers!

It is that time of year again finally and you can read more about the beginning of outdoor golf season here. One of my favourite parts about golf, besides playing golf, is that it is that you are almost encouraged to drink and drive while playing. How can this be a sport?

The 19th Hole

After the round, we felt it would be rude not to visit the local brewery Broken Rail Brewing for a pint. They have a solid IPA and Amber, plus some neat seasonal surprises so it is always a treat to visit the tap room.

In the end, I opted for their standard Tesla's Revenge IPA I have had it many times before, but there weren't any interesting one-off IPAs and there is not much better than cold fresh draft right at the brewery.



So, the sun has gone down on another #beersaturday and I enjoyed the sunset with a pint and a cottage chair. Beer is definitely great but when sharing it with friends outdoors, when the spring finally falls up north.....pretty damn sweet.
